"Well I think you're a monkey."

I looked up as I was tying my shoelaces, "Why are you so immature?"

"Why are you so mature?" Stephen retorted as he was laying on the couch a packet of cookies on his stomach.

"Children, please, stop fighting," Austin said from laying on the ground, "Why are you going to work on a Saturday, stay home and watch movies with us."

I rolled my eyes standing up and slipping on my jacket, "Unlike you, I have to apply for an internship." I grabbed my bag, "So I'll see you all tonight are we still on for dinner?"

Austin nodded, the parents usually had their monthly night outs, which meant we could have ours which usually was at our favourite diner eating as much as we can.

"I don't get why you're applying for an internship, just ask dad."

I shook my head, "I want to work for my spot."

Stephen threw his half eaten cookie at me, "Kay, you're blocking the TV with your fat arse, so move."

I decided not to reply and shook my head as I walked out the door, thankfully Tristan was already outside, "Did Jesse send you?"

He nodded, "Sorry, I could have just caught a taxi."

"It's fine, not like I was doing anything," he shrugged. I threw my bag into the back seat as I got in and buckled up, "No plans on a Saturday?"

"Nah," he shrugged turning the engine one, "Just small stuff, have to take mum to some baby shower," he grimace, "So I'll drop you off and give me a text when you need me to pick you up."

I nodded, I'll just take the train home. I really didn't feel comfortable having a driver like dad did, I just felt like I was such an inconvenience making them drive my everywhere. Maybe I should do the test and get my license, something I had been putting off since a very long time.

The ride to work was pretty quick, even though it was a Saturday, the traffic was empty, maybe because it was only nine. I could have stayed home and gone on my laptop, but at least the office would be empty, and also Austin and Stephen won't distract me.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I was disappointed when I got zero emails from all the jobs I applied to last week. Maybe I didn't have any good qualifications. I looked out the window stretching my legs as the music blared into my ears. Job hunting was harder than I thought. I looked at the time realising it was two reaching into my beg I grabbed a banana out. The office had a few people in it, but a handful.

Biting into my banana I turned in the computer chair, a favourite past time when I used to swirl in it, that was till I realised you could get sick and throw up all over your brother's formal suit.

But this time I only turned once before looking out the window at the stunning view that greeted me.

"I didn't know if you eat hot chips, but who doesn't?"

I spun around mid chew and raised an eyebrow as Tristan grabbed a chair pulling it to my table and dropping the take away box onto my table and shrugging off his jumper before he sat down.

"What are you doing here?" I asked surprised as I moved my things away as he opened it to reveal...well, hot fries.

"I thought you'd be hungry."

"What about the baby shower?"

He shrugged leaning back into his chair, "Hey, only had to drop her off, not staying with hormonal pregnant woman," he shuddered and I shook my head throwing the banana peel into the bin.
