CHAPTER 5 : HE'S BACK??

"The dead are not dead, but alive in another world."

 AFTER  1 YEAR..

Riddhima has moved on finally in her life, with the most unexpected person, Arjun, she was skeptical on moving on at first, when Vansh's memories tormented her, still do, but she has made peace with his death, one might think that Riddhima made a hasty decision or rushed into this, but Riddhima was finally back on her own feet, not only in her personal file, but also professional life.

As Arjun predicted that she would do wonders to the company, and scale the company more than Vansh ever did, he was not wrong, because Riddhima did the same, she has faced a lot which has made her more experienced.

She won the BEST ENTREPRENUER  award, opened up many new ventures, just when she thought her life couldn't face any more shocks, there was something brewing far away from her which would soon throw her life back into the storm she thought she made it out of...

Dadi was insistent that i take forward my relationship with Arjun forward, but the entire world didn't know that, Arjun and I were just faking our relationship, as much as i hated it, it was something I had to do, for the sake of my company. Arjun gave an idea that the thought of me being with a powerful man, would help scare off a few people looming over the chance of my failure, at first I thought it was a ridiculous idea to do that, but slowly the circumstances made me agree to this, but in this course of 1 year, he did become my best friend.

Arjun turned out to be a great investor and also a great friend who I didn't think i needed after what happened, he made me realize that Vansh would want me to move on, for the world he is my boyfriend, for me he is a still a kid at heart, who keeps searching men for me to date, weird.

I was going back to NYC, i shifted my entire life to NYC, and to be honest never regretted it for a moment. Arjun did help me with that also, today we were going to be the  fake breakup day of our fake relationship, as we didn't need to continue our drama anymore.

As I was packing my bags, my phone rang, it was my old friend, Aryan. I hadn't spoken to him in a long time, he was one of Vansh's closest friends, and we had drifted apart after his death. He sounded frantic, "You need to come to my home as soon as possible" he said frantically.

A year and half of being gone and this is what i come back to? My wife with Arjun of all people , my company was almost on the brink of shutting down, though riddhima did do a good job raising the company back to its potential.

Now that I am back, i will deal with Arjun.

F L A S H B A C K

After the ambulance skidded on the hill, vansh was found by a few villagers near by the hill, they treated him for 6 months when Vansh slipped into a coma...

"Riddhima!!!" Vansh woke up with a jerk, when all he could find around him was darkness, "Where am I??" Vansh shouted on the top of his lungs, he couldn't get up from the bed since he was still injured and hurting, when the villagers who saved him came in rushing.

"Are you ok?" a elderly man asked, while checking Vansh's temperature. "I am fine, where am I and who are you? Where is Riddhima??" Vansh couldn't stop asking questions, when the elderly man explained about what all happened to him

"Now since you are conscious, you can go back to your family and get much better doctors to help you" he suggested. "No, I can't do that, not when I have my enemies ready to kill me, i can't save myself or my family if i go back into the world in this position, do the best you can, after that i know what to do"

I rushed to Aryan's house as soon as possible. "What happened!!" i asked him throwing my bag on the couch, when he hurried towards me, "I was recently in a village for a travel blog, and i had taken some pictures, which i was editing when i found this..." he turned the laptop to show me Vansh!

"Is that...is that vansh??" my voice trembled at the hope of him being alive. "When was this??" i asked Aryan. "It was 2 months ago, i think our Vansh is still alive! We need to tell this to your family" he exclaimed. "YES! I will immediately send some security to that village to find Vansh, lets go to the Raisinghania Mansion!" we hurried towards the house.

All the way back to home, the only thing that i could think of was if Vansh was alive, why would he not come out?

As they reached the Raisinghania Mansion, Riddhima and Aryan were greeted by Dadi and Angre. They quickly explained the situation to them and showed them the pictures of Vansh that Aryan had found.

Dadi's eyes filled with tears at the sight of her beloved grandson. "We have to find him," she said firmly. "But how do we even begin to look for him?" Angre asked, his brow furrowed in concern.

"We have to start with that village," Riddhima said determinedly. "Aryan, can you give us the location and any other information you have about the place where you found these pictures?"

"Of course," Aryan replied, pulling out his laptop to show them the location on a map. "I'll also give you the contact information of the people I met there. They might be able to help us."

"I think that won't be necessary anymore" Riddhima turned around to find Vansh. "Vansh!!" riddhima ran towards him and embraced him in a warm hug. The whole family was reconciling with Vansh when riddhima got a call and had to move a little further away from the family and speak.

"You think your life is happy now that you got your vansh back? What about all the things he hid from you riddhima? The diary, Naina, Arjun and him being best of friends, this is just the tip of the iceberg of things he didn't tell you, also the murder of Aadhya just a mistake? You might not know your husband at all at this point riddhima, you might be wondering who am i and all, don't, i am just your well wisher" the doctored voice cut the phone.

Riddhima's head started spiraling after what she heard, when she looked over to vansh.

NOW LIKE I SAID EARLIER SHIT TON OF PLOT LINES TO COVER, LIKE THE DIARY PART, NAINA AND THE MYSTERIOUS BEST FRIEND, I THINK I MADE MY WORK A LOT BIGGER THAN IT WAS  ORGINALLY.
