I've played 'Mario and Luigi - Partners in Time' many times when I was a kid and it has always been one of my favorite games. I loved going on adventure with the Bros and the Babies and all of the bosses and areas etc. I didn't see a single flaw in those games back then. Nowadays, however, I've seen some videos across the internet that explain the aspects of this game that could have been handled better, and I must say: I agree.
A while ago, I came up with the question of what a remake of PiT would look like, if we would ever get one. What could/should be improved? Now, I know absolutely nothing about video game programming, so I would never be able to make a game like this. However, I CAN write my own version of what I would want to happen in this remake. So, that's what this story is about: my own rewrite of Mario and Luigi - Partners in Time.
Before we begin, I should say upfront that not every chapter will have as much changes compared to the original game. There are several parts that I think are good as they are and need little to no improvement, while other chapters will be almost completely different. I'm gonna try to stick to the main storyline of the original game, while changing certain parts to show the potential this game could've had.
