The Kingdom

I awake with pale light coming from the top of the ravine. "Morning" He grunts. "Lets eat, then we'll have the strength to scale this wall." He tells me, pulling out two apples and gives them to me." Thanks"

We finished our food and looked at the wall. "Ok, let's go" He says, Grabbing the wall, he starts scaling it quickly. I follow under him. It felt like forever, but we finally reached the top, I rolled a few paces. I was panting, but he seemed unfazed. "Oh no... we're on the wrong side." I looked over, Ato, Dean, and Richard were sitting on the other side. Green sits up, "Build a bridge! I'm going to get resources!" He got up, "wanna walk or ride?" He looks at me. "Ride" I squeak. I get up and he bends down to lift me. We venture toward the forest we left recently.

We see a large apple tree. He puts me down. "Perfect" he sighs out. I tilt my head, "Why do you get so nervous around villages anyway?" He says quickly. I look down. "I got banned." He tilts his head. "I snuck into a monastery to get medicine... they thought I was stealing." I frown. "And that's a big deal" He looks sad, "I see, that is important to them..." I Look at him, "what are we doing anyways, all these people, all this trouble?" I was annoyed, and the pain in my rib didn't help. "Well. We're going to a large kingdom, to get the books of destiny, then to see about the portals." I look at him, My expression of anger fading."We're not doing anything wrong, we're actually trying to save this map." Is he annoyed? He was finished filling his bag with apples. "Ok, they should be done." He picks me up again, I grunt still a little upset.

We reach the ravine again. It's been totally replaced by a large spectacular bridge. "Whats this?" Green says quizzically but with a hint of humor.. "We got bored so we made it look really cool!" Hugo said. "Wow" I said, "We're glad you're back, I was getting bored again." He said with a smile. I chuckled, "Let's get a move on, these portals cannot wait." We started immediately.

We settled after a day's walk at a small copse of trees, we set everything up. beds, fire, and all. I thanked the lord for getting green and I got out of that ravine. We had a large fire going, ready for meat. Green knows I am a vegan, I had confessed on the way back. "Hey icara, I need to organize a hunting party, Could you help?" I looked over, for being a vegan, I felt ashamed for wanting to lead the hunting party. "M-may I lead it?"I squeaked. He looked surprised, "Sure, who will you take with you?" I looked at Richard and Dean. "I'll take Rich and Dean." He nodded, "Ok, you two, go." They lined up next to me. "Where will you be hunting?" He asks. I paused for a moment considering the sun, and wind. "North" I said, nodding. "Ok go ahead we'll be on the lookout." He said. I set off in the direction. We spotted a herd of sheep. I got low, and they did too. I motioned for Richard to go on the other side, and Dean on the flank. Richard screamed, just like I planned. They fled toward me, I had jumped just in time. Killing three, we had more than enough food. "Yes!" They strode up to me. Congratulations to me thoroughly. "Let's go back, they must be hungry."

When we returned everyone was happy. Green had happened to make me some vegan Bread. "Thanks green!" He gave me the food. We all spoke stories of the past years, after all was done, we slept.

In the morning we all set out to the kingdom.

When we reached the pale wall to the kingdom, green motioned us forward."Richard, Icara and I will be going in, you all stay undercover. Dont be seen." We started walking toward the wall. We made it in, carefully and slowly. There were two guards dressed in stunning silver. "WHERE IS MY FATHER? '' Green shouted. The two guards standing there turned around and walked aggressively towards us."Ugh royal brat, you finally came back" He spat. "Where is my father?" Green says aggressively. "Oh, and now he wants to know. '' The guard pointed out, Green strode forward, grabbing the guard by the collar. "Where. Is. My. Father?" He was seething in anger. "D-down the hall, end door" the guard managed to speak. Green practically threw him. "Royal brat's, always demanding" He spat before going to duty again. We walked to the large room with apprehension.
