Part 4

I woke up early in the morning around 7:56, I just sat there staring at the wall.

I finally got up and got dressed.

I walked down the stares looking around, not a single person was awake. I decided to sit outside in the porch since it was nice and sunny.

"Hey there" I heard a voice say while they were walking up to me.

"Hey Benny!" I replied back giving him a soft smile.

Benny asked me if I wanted to go to the sandlot

"Sure let's walk there" I said

Me and Benny started walking, he started walking a little closer to me, I started to blush.

Once we got there I asked Benny if I can get introductions of everyone.

"ofc y/n" he responded back with

"That's Timmy and tommy Timmons" he said as they spit on the ground.

"Mike 'squints' palledorous" he said as the other kid spat on the ground.

"Alan McClennan, we call him yeah yeah" he spits on the ground.

"Bertram Grover weeks" he spits on the ground

"Kenny DeNunez, and Hamilton Porter"  they both spit on the ground.

I said "hey I'm y/n as you know already"

"Scotty will be here a little later" I said

The other boys seemed excited that Scotty wasn't here yet but me and Benny didn't. I just rolled my eyes.

-A while after playing-

I threw the ball to Bertram who then got benny out before he can touch the base.

"Wow it's been a while since someone got me out, nice!" Benny said

I smiled and said "I'm just to good" jokingly.

- later on-

I was then handed the bat, I was waiting for the ball to come near me.

Right after my swing I ran to 1st, then second and realized the ball went over the fence.

"Shit.. I'll get it" I said as I ran to the fence

"y/n NO!" Squints said

All the boys started running towards me as I ran to the fence

"What the fuck is the problem?.. I'm just grabbing the ball" I said as climbing the fence

No one was talking, Benny grabbed my waist putting me on the ground.

"Hey why did you do that?"

"YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!" Squints said.

"Yeah yeah! What were you thinking?!" Yeah yeah asked.

"Well you guys seemed mad so I thou-" I said as Benny cut me off.

"y/n, you can't go back there.." he said

"Why not, we need the ball to play or else how do we get it back?"

"We don't, it's history!" Timmy said

"It's history!" Tommy repeated.

"It's gone man, GONE!" Bertram said

"The game is over, we will get another ball tomorrow, we won't ever see it again." Benny said.

Scotty asked "why?"

While they all looked at eachother they said "the beast" in sync.

"Wait what?" Scotty and me asked.

Benny walked over to me put his hand on my left shoulder and said "be real quiet, and walk over to that fence and look through that hole." He pointed as he spoke.

I carefully did as he said, I saw a huge paw grab the ball.

"What the fuck was that" I whispered

"Camp out" they said in sync
