"I always believe that my sole obligation in life is to fulfill my dreams until I met you. You changed my philosophy in life. Now, my dream is no longer my obligation. It is the reason of my existence because you are my dream, my everything, my world and the only man I will ever love." Nerdine utters as she shakingly puts the wedding ring on me.   

She didn't look up nor stare at me. She just pins her eyes on floor if not on our wedding presider while I continuously try to catch her eyes but I failed.

I bend down to look into her eyes but she just looks away and avoids my eyes.

"Hey, look at me," I whisper.

She slowly glances into my direction then I see the reason of her incapability to look me into the eyes; the bright and big pupils I always adore are now shimmering with tears.

This is the second time I see her cry and I don't like the feeling of seeing her with tears. My heart is gripped by a strong force every time her teardrop flows. A painful and unfamiliar tingling crawls in my biceps as I drown into her misty eyes. The tingling travels into my heart and sucked all the blood in it and robbed me of all my emotions except for pain.

I am pain by her tears and I feel damned because all I can feel is pain and I don't know why.

"It's your turn," the mayor who is our wedding presider says.

I frown because I don't know what he is talking about.

"Your wedding vows," my father who is at our back says.

Crap!

I forgot that I have to say my own wedding vows as I listened to hers.  

Do I really have to do this? I don't know what to say because I have no feelings for this woman.

I take a deep breath and say whatever that comes out from my mouth.

"I can't promise you anything except to be your husband," I quickly say then put the wedding ring on her.

"That's it?" she asks with amusement in her eyes.

I am about to glare at her when I hear the mayor says "you can now kiss the bride".

I thought someone slapped me because I am stunned and frozen but I was awoken and unfrozen when she suddenly tiptoes and touches her lips to mine for a few seconds.

I feel that our kiss is ending so I deepen it by sucking her lower lip and biting her upper lip. I smile during our wedding kiss because I can feel her trembling against my touch.

Welcome to hell Mrs. Augusto. Your life is now officially miserable with me.

I violently let go of her. She nearly lost her balance but I don't care because I hate her. I received the congratulations from the mayor and hug my parents.  

"We prepare a feast at Hotel Augusto, let's eat lunch there," dad announces merrily.

"Excuse us dad but I want to consummate this marriage as soon as possible," I say before I grab my bride's wrist then we head to my car.

"Hey, Bolt, slowly. My heels can't keep up with you," she complains as she stumbles while following me.

"So clumsy," I hiss as I look at her on the floor who is clutching her ankle.

"Tss," I say as I glance again at her pitiable figure.

"What a nerd," I utter then grab her wrist forcefully to let her stand up.
