(Whenever I go against a legion wearing the kitty fit, I need to offer my item. I need to.)Waking up, you found yourself in the cozy space that you've come to know and love as Susie's room. Sitting up, you pulled the black and red blanket off of you. Admiring the checkered pattern one last time, you turned your head and found your girlfriend passed out, hugging a Plusheen plushy. Leaning over and giving her a perk on the cheek, you got up intending to make today a unique and refreshing day for her. As you've also learned that killing survivors almost every day was exhausting in almost every way, you shared the pain she felt.
Gently opening the wooden door that led to the hallway, you slowly closed it to minimize the number of creaks from the aged hinges. Softly, you padded towards the kitchen to bake something sweet because well..why not? Opening the cabinet above the countertops, you reached for the flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, and the main ingredient, chocolate chips. Then, making your way over to the fridge, you grabbed a stick of butter, the egg carton, and the small bottle of vanilla extract. Being a sweet tooth came in handy when it came to having the ingredients for baked goods.
Now preheating the oven to approximately 350°F, you put on your (F/C) apron with an (F/P) pattern. Now, you expected this to be an entirely solo activity, that is until you felt two arms wrap around your waist. Looking back, you were met with Susie's ocean-blue eyes, staring at you with a certain mischievousness. "Did I scare you (Y/N)?" she asked playfully. "Of course it did, you fearsome little gremlin," you said with an equal amount of mischievousness. "when did you wake up? What happened to the late sleeper that I know and love?" You said a bit confused, but happy nonetheless. "Around like..50 seconds ago?" She said casually. Maybe you need to work on getting up earlier to do stuff like this.
"Could you grab the mixing stand for me and a few bowls Susie?" You asked the pink-haired female. "Sure thing!" She replied, glad to be able to help. And with that, you started mixing the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Whilst you did this, Susie beat the butter and sugar together in the more giant bowl belonging to the mixing stand. You observed her quick and careful movements as she added the eggs and vanilla extract, forming the earlier stages of what would be the dough.
You were snapped out of your daydream as she asked if you'd like to incorporate the flour and add the chocolate chips into the batter. Inclined to cooperate, you attempted to reach for the whisk that she was using. You being you, of course, you fell right into her, bringing you both tumbling toward the ground. After processing what just happened, the both of you erupted in laughter. "Girl, (Y/N) why are you such a klutz? Do you like kissing the floor more than me?" Susie said in a playful tone, still giggling here and there.
Muttering a lame response, you slowly got up. Seeing that Susie was still sitting on the ground, looking at the ceiling, you held out your hand. Finally, she noticed your attempts to help. She took your hand, got up, and soon after, the both of you guys got back to working on the cookies. Finally taking the whisk from the countertops where it laid abandoned, you slowly incorporated the flour, finishing by adding the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
The both of you admired the beautiful concoction that was created in the kitchen at 9 in the morning. What a vibe. Now came the messier part of baking, distributing the dough evenly on the non-stick cookie sheet. Somehow, both of you managed to mess up at least one baked good in the process of putting them into the oven, and you both didn't want history to repeat itself.
In the end, you were able to put 10 medium scoops on 2 separate trays, the best part being that they were evenly spaced! Putting them into the now-heated oven, the both of you pondered on what to do while the cookies finish baking. "How about we watch part of a movie, or maybe a TV show?" If anything, the best thing about the entities realm was for sure the universal access to shows and movies. Who needs Nord VPN when you've got the Entity?
"I'm down for that. Movie-wise, how about (Y/F/M)? It's one of my favorite movies, and to my knowledge, you haven't seen it yet, you cool with that?" You said curiously. "Yeah absolutely! I like to watch things you enjoy, you always do the same for me..." She started, soon trailing off. Susie replied hastily before running back towards the bedroom you both shared, probably to go grab blankets and pillows. Honestly, understandable.
As you entered the living room, you spotted the remote on the transparent coffee table. Grabbing it, you fell back onto the comfortable couch. As you turned on the TV and navigated to the desired streaming service, Susie ran into the room, blankets draped around her shoulders like a cape, holding on to the pillows for dear life. What in the world did you propose again? To build a blanket fort? Or watch a movie?
Susie took off one of the blankets and threw it at your frozen form, covering your eyes in the process. You lay there, feeling a pillow getting shoved behind your head and a weight plop down beside you on the couch. Removing the blanket from your eyes, you saw Susie attempting to find the remote, frustrated, she huffed. "Yo, chill out. I got the remote right here Suz." You then said as you tossed her the remote.
Finally satisfied, she settled down beside you and started the movie.{Time skip sponsored by Borrowed Time}
Around 25 minutes later, you both heard a faint beep coming from the kitchen, signaling that the cookies were done. The both of you got up excited, but not leaving before pausing the unfinished movie. You both walked hand in hand towards the kitchen in a rushed manner, eager to take out the cookies. "Could you take them out (Y/N?" Susie said, dragging out the second half of your name. "Yeah of course! How are you scared of ovens but not psychopathic murderers...should that be left unsolved?" You asked inquisitively. "Yeah, you don't want to know." She soon replied. Not wanting to pry, you continued getting the cookies out of the oven.
Putting on mittens, you opened the oven door and you were met with a rash blast of hot air. Slowly reaching toward the middle rack of the oven, you took a look at the cookies, and to your surprise, they looked straight out of a baking ad. Internally celebrating, you grabbed the cookie sheet by the sides and lifted it out of the oven, taking small steps to the countertop and setting it down. You heard the sound of the oven being closed and turned off from behind you, all due to assistance from your amazing gf.
Taking off the oven mitts and putting them back where they belonged, you asked Susie how she felt about the finished result of the cookies. "They look delicious alright....do we NEED to let them cool down..? Waitings for losers, you know that right?" Susie said hastily. "Yeah, well, if you don't want to burn your tongue off, I suggest you wait for a few. We can grab a few and continue watching the movie if you want." You said, used to her childish antics. "As long as your the big spoon, I'm in."
(lol writer's block I hope it was a little bit less than mediocre)
