(Forgive me if this seems rushed or out of character, it's because it was. Very.)
(Y/N) had been running through the twisted corridors of the abandoned asylum for what felt like hours. Every time she thought she had lost the killer, he would appear again, his glowing red eyes piercing through the darkness.
Just as she was about to give up hope, they heard a familiar voice echoing through the halls. "Over here," it spoke out almost apprehensively, and (Y/N) recognized it immediately as the voice of Albert Wesker, the former S.T.A.R.S member that she had known, but to what extent?
(Y/N) hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to trust the killer who had been chasing them for so long, even before these endless trials. But something in Wesker's tone made them feel like they could take a chance.
Following the sound of his voice, (Y/N) soon found themselves face to face with the man himself. He was standing in front of a door, his eyes fixed on the ground.
Without a word, he stepped aside and gestured for (Y/N) to go through the door leading to the final generator. They hesitated for a moment, but then realized that this might be their only chance to escape.
As they passed through the doorway, Wesker spoke again. "I owe you this much," he said. "But don't think for a second that I won't come after you again."
With that, he disappeared back into the shadows, leaving (Y/N) alone in the room. They knew that they had been lucky to escape, but they also knew that they would never forget the feeling of those glowing red eyes following them through the darkness.
(time skip because I'm lazy)
(Y/N) emerged from the abandoned asylum, their heart racing as they realized that they had somehow managed to escape the clutches of the "merciless" killer, Albert Wesker.
As they made their way back to the survivor-only camp, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel a sense of relief mixed with confusion. Why had Wesker let her go? Was this some kind of trick, or had the killer simply decided to show mercy?
When they finally arrived back at the camp, (Y/N) was greeted with a mixture of relief and excitement from their fellow survivors. They all wanted to know what had happened, and (Y/N) did their best to explain the strange encounter with Wesker.
Some of the survivors were skeptical, but others, such as Rebecca, believed that Wesker might have had a change of heart. After all, they reasoned, even killers could have moments of compassion.
As the days passed, (Y/N) couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. Every time they turned around, they half-expected to see Wesker lurking in the shadows, ready to strike.
But as time went on, it became clear that the killer had truly let them go. And while (Y/N) would never forget the terrifying encounter in the abandoned asylum, they also knew that they had been given a second chance at life - maybe even a second chance at their affinity with him.
