at a meeting at the one only Prince Plain Yoghurt's place, when he is about to make an "important" announcement, all lights suddenly go off. When turned on again, our cast of characters are met with quite the surprise.
A surprise covered in...
The duo walked across the street, inching closer and closer to the hotel. Roguefort looked at Almond with what was probably a satisfied look. It was hard to tell with the cowboy hat, glasses, and fake moustache on his face..
Roguefort : " it's genius , actually . besides , how else do you think I escaped from you when there was nowhere to run , detective ? "
Almond C. Garcia gave a frozen expression, thinking, " how the hell did I spend years trying to catch this guy . "
They arrived at the front, where a security guard was awaiting. Well, it wasn't much of a security guard than it was a random worker, who was told to wait for guests at the front. It was basically just a 17 year old holding a guest book.
Worker : " hm ? oh , you two are here early .. but no problem . what is you and yourrr .. "
He thought for a second. Worker : " ... husband's name ? "
Almond : " eh , we're not — " Roguefort : " my name is Moldy Orange Davis . this is my husband , Almond ... Davis . "
The employe searched his book, muttering names of guests to himself. Worker : " .. I'm afraid you're not on the list , sir .. "
Roguefort gave a fake gasp, and acted out a shocked look. Roguefort : " we're not on the guest list ? why , I never ! I always knew that man was homophobic ! 6 YEARS OF US TWO BEING FRIENDS WITH HIM , LENDING HIM MONEY .. and he doesn't even INVITE US TO HIS OWN HOTEL ! "
Almond's jaw dropped at the entire storyline Roguefort had created and acted out, which, based on the employee's expression, was vey believable.
Almond : " what he said . "
The hotel employee looked empathetic, but also enraged at his seemingly good-intended employer. Worker : " you know what ? I'll let you in — YOU SHOW HIM ! "
They walked through the gate, Almond still full of shock. Almond : " how did you .. ? " Roguefort shrugged, casually making his way towards the door.
Roguefort : " he was probably just stupid . "
The door swung open, revealing a decent hotel. They didn't really expect much. It was still above average though..simple, yet affective. And, based on the looks of it, they weren't any much closer to being caught.
This plan may work out.
