Roop stood in his balcony, looking out into the horizon. His thoughts were consumed with Prince Var, and the words he had spoken earlier. Despite his initial disappointment and confusion, Roop felt a growing admiration and respect for the prince.
As Roop stood there, lost in thought, he began to sing a song. It was a song of hope, forgiveness, and courage. A song about being true to oneself, and finding one's place in the world.
Verse 1: Standing here alone,
In the balcony of my home,
Thinking 'bout the things I've done,
The mistakes I've made, one by one.
Chorus: But I won't let them bring me down,
I'll rise up and wear my crown,
With courage and strength deep inside,
I'll rule my kingdom with pride.
Verse 2: I know I've been hurt before,
By people I thought I could adore,
But I won't let that break my heart,
I'll find love, and make a fresh start.
The melody was beautiful, and as Roop sang, his voice echoed through the palace. It was a musical scene of pure emotion, and Roop poured his heart and soul into the song.
As he finished the last notes, Roop felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that he needed to forgive Prince Var, and that he needed to have the courage to be true to himself. He also knew that one day, he would find a prince who would love him for who he was, and that he would be a great king.
With a newfound sense of hope and determination, Roop made his way towards Prince Var's chambers, ready to forgive him and start anew.
As Roop was running towards Prince Var's chamber, he suddenly heard voices from his father's room. As he walked closer, he realized it was his King Samrat talking. Curiosity getting the better of him, Roop quietly approached the door and eavesdropped on their conversation.
"So, who do you think Roop should marry?" Samrat's voice boomed.
The advisor hesitated before replying, "Your Majesty, I believe it should be Roop's decision. After all, he is the one who will be spending the rest of his life with the person he marries."
Samrat laughed derisively. "Don't be foolish, advisor. It will always be my decision in Roop's life. And let me tell you, I have been considering every single prince who came for the swayamvar."
Roop's heart started racing as he heard the names of various princes, including Prince Surya, Prince Arjun, and Prince Rohit.
"I have to say, there are some very good options. There's Prince Rishabh from the east, who has strong trade relations with our kingdom. And then there's Prince Vikram from the south, who has a powerful army that we could ally with. And let's not forget Prince Arjun from the west, whose kingdom is rich in resources that we could use."
Roop's heart was pounding as Samrat spoke. But then he heard something that made him freeze.
"And then there's Prince Var and King Bhaargav. Now, those are two very interesting options. King Bhaargav has a large army, and if we ally with him, we could be unstoppable. And Prince Var, he's a prince and a man of honor. He has promised to be loyal to Roop, and that is a powerful ally to have."
As Roop listened to his father's conversation, he felt his heart sink with each passing word. His father's voice was filled with greed and lust, and he was willing to sell his own son's happiness and dignity for his personal gain.
