Roop stood nervously next to the throne, feeling the weight of his responsibility as the next Crown Prince. Suddenly, the army head of Vajrayudha, General Narsimha, marched into the hall with his troops. The room fell silent as everyone's eyes turned towards them, including Roop's supportive fiance Var.
General Narsimha was a tall and imposing figure, with a stern expression on his face. He approached Roop, offering him a deep and respectful bow.
"Greetings, Crown Prince Roopeshwar," he said in a calm but firm voice. "I come on behalf of the people of Vajrayudha, to discuss the matter of our former King Bhaargav's death."
Roop's heart was racing as he tried to maintain his composure. He knew the consequences of his actions could be severe, and he didn't want to cause any more conflict.
"I understand," Roop replied, trying to keep his voice steady. "I take full responsibility for the death of your King. However, it was an act of self-defense, and I had no intention of harming him."
General Narsimha nodded gravely, his eyes piercing into Roop's. "We acknowledge your actions, Crown Prince. However, our people demand justice for our fallen King. And we believe that justice can only be served if you take his place as the new King of Vajrayudha."
Roop's heart sank at the mention of this. He had no desire to take over another kingdom, especially not one with such a tragic history. He glanced at his mother, the Queen, and his beloved Var, who both looked concerned.
"Crown Prince Roopeshwar, we mean you no harm," General Narsimha spoke up. "We came here to negotiate peacefully and resolve our issues."
Roop took a deep breath and tried to steady himself. He knew he had to make a decision and take responsibility for his actions.
"General Narsimha," Roop began, addressing him respectfully. "I appreciate your offer, but I must decline. I have no desire to take over your kingdom, and I never did. I am here to represent my own people and ensure their safety and well-being. We can negotiate a peaceful resolution to this conflict, but it cannot involve me taking over Vajrayudha."
General Narsimha looked taken aback by Roop's response, but he nodded thoughtfully. "I understand your position, Crown Prince. And I respect it. We can discuss a peaceful solution that works for both of our kingdoms."
The tension in the room began to ease as Roop and General Narsimha continued their conversation, trying to find a way to resolve the conflict peacefully. Roop took a deep breath and spoke with a firm voice, "General Narsimha, you and your army are our guests, and we will treat you with all the hospitality befitting your rank. I invite you to stay with us until my wedding with Prince Var, and in this time we can discuss the future of our kingdoms and make a decision that will benefit all of us."
Prince Var stepped forward and added, "I second Roop's proposal. It is imperative that we work together for the betterment of our people, and I believe that with your wisdom and guidance, General Narsimha, we can achieve great things."
Angad, always the gracious host, stepped forward and said, "My lords, your every need will be taken care of while you stay here. Our cooks will prepare the finest meals, and our servants will attend to your every need. It is an honor to have you as our guests."
General Narsimha nodded in agreement, "Your Highness, I appreciate your hospitality and I am honored to accept your invitation. I believe that our kingdoms can work together and prosper. I shall stay until your wedding, and we shall discuss the future of our kingdoms."
Roop smiled, relieved that the tension had dissipated. "Excellent, General Narsimha. I am glad that we can find common ground and work together towards a brighter future."
