"My Annabelle, I hope you enjoy running." Christophe chuckles, grabbing my other arm, tugging on it making Michael let my other arm go. Alistair stood behind Michael his arms crossed over his chest, watching Michael carefully, before flicking his gaze to me. "Let' go." Christophe pulls my arm, slowly picking up his pace until he was running easily, his breathing steady, as I'm panting, trying to keep up.

"I can't take it anymore." I pant out, my lungs burning, my throat dry and sore. "Surely your powers have kicked in?" He asks, slowing down to a jog, looking back at me weirdly. "What powers?" I ask curiously, looking at Michael, who ran behind me, holding back as Alistair trailed behind him. "Your powers should start to kick in now that your at that age," Alistair starts hesitantly, looking at Christophe for help.

"It doesn't matter, your slowing us down, Alistair pick her up and carry her." Christophe orders. Michael steps in front of Alistair as he tries to grab me. "I'll do it." Michael grumbles, pulling me towards him protectively. Alistair looked at Christophe, who nodded, silently Michael lifts me up, one arm around my waist and the other under my legs.

In a blur they ran, the trees blurred together in one colour and soon we were in a clearing, two bulky men in black with guns stood waiting quietly. Moving towards us as we stopped, stepping next to Michael on either side. "Grab him." Christophe instructs the two men, suddenly I was pulled out of Michael's grasp and was being held back by another man who appeared from nowhere.

"Ah, Loki you seemed to have joined us." Christophe greets the man who now held me. He had shaggy blonde hair that covered his chocolate brown eyes, a leather jacket sat snugly across his shoulders, a black t-shirt showing off his defined muscles and jeans that hung low on his hips.

He wore boots that were cakes with dry mud, dribbled dotted his jaw and his cheeks were slightly pink from the cold. "I heard a were came with you." A faint Irish accent was laced in his deep voice, almost making me sigh in happiness. He was gorgeous, but he didn't beat Michael by miles. "Keep hold off the princess." Alistair butts in, a wide grin spreading across his face, he took a step towards Michael, his fist raised.

He swung connecting with the side of Michaels jaw, a sickening crunch noise made me scream. "Don't! Please don't" I pull against Loki's killer grip, tears streaming down my face as Alistair took another swing at Michael this time connecting with his nose.

Michael tried to lunge for Alistair only to be pulled back by the two guards, he thrashed against the two of them, trying to reach for Alistair. "You double crossed me." Michael shouts, blood pouring down his nose, soaking his top. "I will not let you near Annabelle." Christophe walks towards Michael, stopping in front of him and grabbing his jaw firmly.

"You will never see her again." He hisses at Michael. "Take her to the castle." Christophe tells Loki. "Don't let her out of your sight until I get back." He finishes, turning his back on us and kicking Michael in the stomach, a cracking sound indicated a rib or few were broken. "Please." I sob, head butting Loki in the nose, instantly making him let me go, giving me a chance to escape. I ran towards Michael, pushing Christophe away with a sudden force that made me gasp. "I'm so sorry." I kneel in front of Michael grabbing his face in my hands.

I was yanked back abruptly from Michael, Loki's arms enveloping me from behind. "Don't try anything stupid." He whispers in my ear, his warm breath tickling my ear. Suddenly everything went blurring and a darkness enveloped me, my consciousness slipping away. I woke up in a huge canopy bed, light pouring through a window.

A plasma tv sat on a wall, a leather couch in front of it, another three doors all closed. I got out of bed, walking to the first door, it was locked, I went to the next which opened up to a bathroom, I closed it opening the last door that was a walk in closet that was filled with clothes.

The first door rattled, slowly it opened, I closed the closet door, suddenly it was dark, I held my breathe as the door opened, light flooding into the closet, revealing Loki, he was wearing a fresh t-shirt and his feet were bare. "What are you doing?" Loki chuckles, extending his hand out to me. I pushed it away, standing up on my own.
