"I'm Tania Queshiel Gomez. You can call me Tania for short as in Ta-na-ya. 21 years old and I live in San Francisco, which is a town in Agusan del Sur. I wasn't able to complete my studies because I needed to find a job to support my family, so I'm obviously the breadwinner. If you're curious, I'm also the eldest, with two younger siblings, Amaya and Derek. Amaya has just started high school, and Derek is still in 4th grade, so they still need their big sister to support them. My mother is now in her late forties and also sells delicacies in the neighborhood but it is still not enough for us to survive throughout the day..."

"Oh, you want to know about my Father? Forget about my father. He's too busy flirting with other girls and doesn't care about us anyway."

Tania sighed after doing her first attempt for an interview she has been preparing while looking herself in the mirror.

"Kailangan talaga mag English? Di naman siguro need?"

"Unsa guy pulos sa English English kung sturya raman diay taman?"
(If all you say when speaking English is empty words, what's the catch?)

Despite the question in her head, Tania continued to prepare for a formal introduction in her new job that she is applying for. It was a good opportunity for her because the job pays well and can really help them out because it was only a few blocks away.

"Anak, kilala mo ba yung boss ng pag a-aplayan mo?"

Her mother asked while Tania was in a rush.

"Hindi pa, ma. Sabi ni tito there's no need to worry naman daw."

Tania answered.

"Nag scroll kasi ako sa social media kanina tapos nalaman ko na si---"

Tania's mother realized Tania was already gone and laughed at herself while continuing to do the chores.

Tania arrived at the building and was taken aback by its design. It was straightforward, yet modern and elegant. The outside view featured neutral colors, which she preferred. She was even more excited to meet the owner because she believes they will get along pretty well.

After a few moments, she heard footsteps to her right.

"Putooooooot!"
(Means "Pandak" or "Short")

A man's voice called from a distance.

For a brief moment, Tania was stunned to react and thought the voice sounded familiar. She looked to her right-right away and couldn't believe who she saw.

"COLE!?"
