Shin Tanaka was just a normal boy who had a hard life, with his parents always arguing and being alone in school with no friends. The only thing he had was his love for Yu-Gi-Oh! with Jaden Yuki being his favorite character. One day, he gets reborn...
At a normal house, We see a 16 year old boy with black hair and blue eyes watching an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. It's the episode where Jaden Duel with Zane. It was an intense battle but ended in a draw.
Shin : Woah! That duel was amazing! I never thought that Jaden's and Zane's Duel would end up in a draw!
The black haired teen turned off the TV and picked up his Dueling Deck. It was an Elemental Hero Deck with some adjustments. Suddenly he heard some noises coming from downstairs.
Mom : You're so useless! Can't you try helping me with the chores for once?!
Dad : Shut up! I work too hard everyday! While you always stay at the house doing nothing!
Shin : *sighs* ( They're at it again... )
Shin got sick of their non-ending arguments so he changed his clothes and got out of the house to get some fresh air.
[ Time Skip ]
Shin was walking in the streets to clear his head, until he saw a little girl who was walking in the streets. Suddenly, a truck was going fast towards the girl and the driver wasn't paying any attention to the road. So Shin ran quickly and pushed the girl out of the way and got hit by the truck instead.
Little Girl : Mommy...!
The little girl ran to her mother and hugged her tightly while having tears in her eyes. The truck driver got out of his truck and looked at Shin who was on the ground, hurt and in pain.
Truck Driver : *concerned* Oh my god! Are you okay, kid?!
Girl's Mother : Someone call an ambulance! That brave young man saved my daughter!
Back to Shin, he was badly hurt, blood dripping down his face. Soon, his vision started to get blurry.
Shin : ( I guess that's it... at least... I did... a one last good deed... )
Shin's body then lost all of its strength and he closed his eyes.
Shin heared someone calling for him, his eyes slowly started to open. However, he found himself laying on the ground in what appeared to be some kind of park. He looked at himself searching for any injuries but didn't find any. He then noticed that his clothes were different so he ran to a near lake and looked at his reflection.
