Airport Anxiety

Y/n is going to the airport, she is visiting one of her friends for their birthday. She was looking forward to it. Just one thing.... She terribly afraid of heights. She packed her bags. And had her mom drive her to the airport. She said goodbye to her mom. She decided to scroll through Tik Tok. Once her flight was called her anxiety had kicked in. She had sat down in her seat. Her legs were shaking, she was fidgeting with her rings. She always does that when she anxious. She was shaking so bad, she didn't even realize someone sat next to her.

???- Hey are you okay?

She nods...

???- I'm Arny... I see that you're anxious... So I'm gonna distract you. I know I'm a complete stranger... But I figured I'd help.

She nods...

Arny: tell me why you're on the plane... You going somewhere?

Y- I'm uh uh uh visiting a friend... For her 21st birthday... I wanted to surprise her.

Arny: aw that's sweet.. what's your friend's name?

Y: y/bff/n she is my childhood best friend.

The plane started to take off. But y/n was so deep into conversation with this complete stranger. That she didn't even realize the plane taking off. She started to calm down. She looked out the window.

Y- Thanks Arny... I'm y/n btw

A- nice to meet you y/n

Y- thanks for helping me... I'm sorry you had to go through with helping me.

A- oh don't worry about that love... I was worried about you. As I too struggle with heights, and anxiety. I know how bad those two can get. Not too be too forward... You mind if I get your number.. I'd love to hang out with you.

Y- of course... Are you from Miami?

Arny nods and smiles, while he hands her his phone to out her number in.

Y- okay then... We will have to hang out soon, of course after my trip.

A- I'd like that *he smiles*
