Chapter 9: okay.

Y/N's pov:

I hear footsteps come into the room, I see Tanjiro and Zenitsu standing in the doorway.

"Is something wrong with Yuki..?" Tanjiro softly said.

I shook my head slowly, turning back to Yuki's puffy face.

"is anybody there?" her puffy eyes stare into my e/c eyes, I let out a small chuckle as I looked at her.

Nobody's POV:

Yuki continued to cry as she stuffed her head into Y/N's shoulder, making Y/N shirt wet but Y/N didn't really care and started to gently pat Yuki's back.

"Yuki it's fine, you don't deserve those bastards anyways.. I'll always be here for you."

Y/N said with a soft tone, Yuki knew she had no power to stop all of them before they came crashing towards Y/N when they become their full potential. Yuki only sobbed harder and her cries became louder as she hugged Y/N tightly.

"I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry.." Yuki felt powerless, having to witness her own best friend being taken away from her while being held hostage. Yuki only kept apologizing, Y/N seemed confused and started asking a bunch of questions.

"Yuu-Chan, what's wrong? Why are you apologizing? Tell me." Y/N looked into Yuki's teary eyes, completely ignoring the two boys by the door. Seeing her best friend cry only makes her worry by the second.

"I-I just.. I.. I..!" Yuki stuttered with her words, burying her head into Y/N's shoulder again.

"Y/N.. I'm so sorry.. I'm sorry.. forgive me.. I'm so sorry.." Yuki only cried more, knowing that she won't be able to save her on time.

"Yuki Shiro." Y/N said with a firm tone, a sudden change of voice made Yuki shudder and look back up.

"Tell me, why are you apologizing?" Y/N's (e/c) stares into Yuki's watery blue eyes, Yuki only sniffled in response.

"They're still in the doorway, I need to speak in private." Yuki responded to Y/N's comment.

Tanjiro's POV:

I continued to watch, only to feel jealousy fume inside of me. I can sense guilt and fear from Yuki, jealousy and hatred from Zenitsu, and worry from Y/N. I watched as they both continued to talk. it only angered me when she said they needed to talk alone.

"oh, sure.. we're on our way, plus it's almost dark outside so me and Zenitsu are going to go to my house." I informed them both before I firmly grabbed onto Zenitsu and stormed out the door.

"Why didn't we stay?" Zenitsu said while looking at me, my jealousy and rage became worry and guilt before looking at Zenitsu.

"Didn't you sense that Yuki felt uncomfortable, guilty, and fearful? She clearly knows something's wrong, let's go to the bakery before my family worries." With that, me and Zenitsu started to walk towards my bakery, still wondering why they needed to talk alone.

Y/N's POV:

We both watched as they both left Yuki's house, she sighed in relief and wiped her tears away.

She took a sharp and deep breath before exhaling.

"look.. I know everything in the future." She says with no hesitation, I knew she isn't joking when her eyes don't have that spark and her mouth isn't shaking. Her body only quivered as she started to burst into tears again.

"Y/N.. I'm so sorry.. I'm so sorry.." I watched as my best friend, the one who's been there for me ever since I got trapped here, started crying. I shuddered, tears began forming in the corners of my eyes as I looked at her, desperate to find an answer.

"YUKI SHIRO!! ANSWER ME!! WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE!?" she flinched with the sudden voice change, I cleared my voice when I realized.. I shouted at the person I trusted most.

She only nodded her head.

"Listen.. after I tell you, I will have to erase your memory and everything I've said.. please don't try and search for your lost memories after I do erase them." She said with ease, I started to cry angry tears.

"Yuki just tell me already!!" I was desperate.. I needed to know why she's crying more, I just needed to know.

"your friends.. the love interests.." her lips quivered and her tone became really shaky.

"The love interests.. are all after you once they all become their full potential.. and I have no power to stop them from taking you.." she looked at me, staring at my eyes with her teary eyes, her face was slightly red from the crying.

"I'm so sorry Y/N.. I'm so sorry.. I'm so sorry..!" She pulled me into a tight hug before I blacked out suddenly, hearing faint cries and apologies.

heya, I'm back after a long ass break, I might make a remake of this book since it's only focused on the OC and not Y/N.. but for now let's see how things go. Oh! And I'll be editing/remaking the chapters soon. I'm experiencing some disorders and disabilities at the moment (according to my doctor aka: my bsf😝 I don't think this is self diagnose but if it is, I apologize if I sound like I am.) and since I've been dealing with some bs, drama, and a shit ton of family problems this book may be discontinued. I deeply apologize if this books sounds "cringe" or "way too out of character". I made this book back in 2021 or 2022 so no shit it would sound cringe asf, lol. I will be remaking this book but MUCH BETTER and a MUCH BETTER UPGRADE. I will be asking for love interest requests since the only love interest I have in my mind so far are: Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao, Aoi, Nezuko, Muichiro, Yuichiro, Kyojuro, Giyu, Sabito, Shinobu, Sanemi, Kokushibo, Muzan, and finally Akaza. Minors are aged up to 17-19 since I WILL get hate for making them have sexual desires, thoughts, and themes. Anyways, thank you for reading my book, I might make a remake or continue this book, but let's see if I make up my mind.
