I'm not a guy so I don't know if my POV sounds good so yeah don't hate me if Sam thinks "like a girl."

-new text from: Sky-
>hey what are you doing today?<

I received Sky's text as I grabbed my bag from next to my front door. I try to keep it in a place that makes it easier to run out of the house in case something happens. Luckily, today I haven't had a run in with my mom. Yet that is.
I hurriedly get out of the house and lock our door behind me to start walking to school.
I took out my phone and started a new text to Sky.

-to: Sky-
>nothing. Probably have some chores @ home<

-from:Sky-
>do you ever hang out with your friends? Lol<

I'm assuming she meant the people I hang around with at school. To be honest I just hang out with them because no one else will hang out with me. Most of that group are stoners, I smoke but it's gotten less recently. I just don't want to hang out with those guys anymore and smoking by myself isn't as satisfying as smoking with others.

-to:Sky-
>yeah no. They just follow me.<

Which isn't a lie they are always bothering me no matter where I go. They don't necessarily follow me; but they don't leave me alone either. I'm happy that Sky wants to hang out, maybe I'll make a friend that doesn't annoy the shit out of me.

As I walked into school I immediately see my group of 'friends' and walk to them. My only actual friend from the group, Austin, comes to greet me.
"Yo man how was your weekend?" Austin asked enthusiastically.
"Well, I hung out with Bec; and mostly just hung out at my house." I told him honestly. I didn't mention how Blair had friended me on Facebook, it might not even become a friendship.
"Oh, that's cool. What are you doing this weekend then?" He looked at me curiously as we walked to our first period.
"No official plans, Skyler invited me to Blair's. I might go." I said quietly. I didn't want anyone to over hear me, or hear me in general.
"Skyler? As in Skyler and Blair? The lesbians?" He asked.
"They aren't lesbians Austin. They are just really close friends." I explained this to him countless times.
"But they hold hands. IN PUBLIC." He said loudly in my face.
"I know that Austin. But they have a strong friendship. Who cares anyway?"
He shrugged and we walked into our first period, science.
The rest of my first four classes were boring and I'd occasionally see my friend Bailey walking around. Doing who knows what, and to who.

By lunch I was ready for a fulfilling snack size bag of Doritos. I don't like to eat a lot. My stomach is kinda small so I don't eat very much when I do.
As I was in the middle of eating the remaining bits of Dorito in my bag I saw two dark brown heads bobbing and swaying their way through school. I knew it was Sky and Blair just by how groups would part so they could walk through.
They aren't popular, people just know that they aren't to be messed with. With Skylar's wicked temper and Blair's penetrating blue eyes, everyone avoided them.
And to my horror, they began a path towards me.
"Hello there Sam." Skylar greeted me.
"Hey" I said with a small wave.
My eyes then descended onto Blair.
She was glaring and looking around at my friends like She had a deep hate for them. I swear I saw someone jump as her glare connected with their  gaze.
Then her eyes fell onto me.
They softened and She grew a brilliant smile.
"Can I have some?" She asked enthusiastically.
Before I had the chance to answer she has snatched the bag out of my hands and investigated the contents.
"You ate all of it!" she exclaimed as though they were hers in the first place.
"Yeah well they were my lunch so..." I trailed off. Assuming she would get that they were mine and not hers to begin with.
She huffed and sat the empty bag back into the table.
My eyes found Skylar once again and I found her eyes already inspecting me.
"Do you know if you Can come this weekend?" she asked with arms crossed in front of her. I fumbled with my words. She had just asked yesterday!
"W-well, I'm not sure, I need to ask first." I looked at the ground and avoided their eyes.
"So we're picking you up at 6, OK?"
Wait, what.
I looked up and they had already left down the hallway laughing and harassing students in the path.
My heart sunk when I pictured them rolling up to my house and knocking on my door. Oh, and what my mom would say when they arrived. Jesus how am I going to explain that.
"SAM!"
I jumped in my chair and faced Austin,
"what man?"
"Dude, the bell rang, you're gonna be late."
I groaned and grabbed my bag off the ground and Austin and I started running to Spanish.
