3 months has passed, now Axel and Fia are outcasts of the town. They would occasionally steal bread, but that's the only thing they can steal. Not only that, the stall owners raised their guards, so they heavily guarded their edibles as they look out for the 2 children. It was hard. It was struggling. But they managed. They ate wild plants, it tasted horrible, drank water from the river, though it tasted somewhat acidic as time came by, and caught fishes, with the deformed ones being more prominent than the passing days. What's happening? Axel cringed at the thoughts. He simply shrugged it off. They were living normally, as they know. Eating, sleeping, talking, enjoying the moments they have. What could have gone wrong? Nothing. Just nothing. Everything is normal, "Like how it used to be." Axel voiced his thoughts out loud, he was awake, he can't sleep. "I don't know why I'm like this. I'm so... tensed these days. And I don't know why." he thought to himself. He looked at Fia, who was sleeping soundly. He smiled, she was a home he could have, she was his everything. He'll protect her, no matter what. But... from what? From every horrible things. It was his resolve. He has grew fond of Fia, ever since they met. She was full of wounds, she was lighting a match stick for warmth, and that's where she got her name. How she escaped from her captors? She said to Axel that she ran away from them. Snuck out of the door when they were sleeping and took a match box. Then Axel began his new life, with Fia. Axel reminisced. He wondered, will these days last? I hope it will take forever for days like this with Fia to perish.
