Mei woke up, tied on a ladder adjacent to Sharon's ladder and close to Sam. She wriggled fervently as she panicked. Cybil's corpse was burnt to a crisp.

"Here is where the apocalypse began. This is where we stop the annihilation of the world. We drew a line in the sand and said: 'Demon, you will not cross!' But the demon is wicked, full of treachery. Yet again he comes to tempt us, in the guise of an innocent. To rid the world of this demon, WE MUST BURN THESE CHILDREN!!" Christabella thundered. The crowd clamored now.

"NO!!! LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!" Sam roared, fiercely.

"THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!" Rose yelled.

"NOT ON MY WATCH, YOU BUGGERS!!" Sweeney chimed in, coming inside the church with Rose.

"Mommy!" Sharon shouted, fearful.

"It's okay, baby. Everything's gonna be okay." Rose comforted her adopted daughter.

"SWEENEY!!" Mei screamed, hyperventilating.

"It'll be alright, sweet." Sweeney comforted Mei. "I'm here."

"Oh my God...!" Rose noticed the burned corpse of Cybil Bennett.

"WITCH!!" A man shouted.

"Bloody hell...!" Sweeney noticed as well. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

"They murdered a police officer!" Sam answered.

"Oh my God! WHAT HAVE YOU PEOPLE DONE?!" Rose was enraged by what they did to Cybil.

"You have returned." Christabella said to the two.

"Yes, we have." Rose nodded.

"And with bad news for you, my pet." Sweeney added, a stoic look that spooked the priestess.

"The demon and the witch have returned." Christabella accused.

"The witch, the witch. The demon, the demon." The crowd clamored.

"Poppycock and lies! Don't believe 'em!" Sweeney warned.

"Do not believe her lies. I come from a world outside this place. I come from a world full of life! Why don't you tell them the truth? Tell them the truth that you deny even to yourself. There was no apocalypse! You burned in the fire that you started. And nothing can save you 'CAUSE YOU'RE ALREADY DAMNED!!!" Rose moved through the crowd all while being slapped by a cultist and she shoved right back.

"Yeah, that's right! You're all cursed...damned to hell!" Sweeney added.

A cultist packed a punch to both Rose and Sweeney.

"Mommy!" Sharon fretted.

"Sweeney!!" Mei shook with fear.

"Take them! Burn them! Burn them as a witch and a demon!" Christabella growled.

"Burn them! Burn them!" The cultists clamored.

Sweeney chuckled darkly as they helped him up.

"So that's what you aim to do, eh?" Sweeney saw right through them now as he chuckled darkly. "You intend to burn us because we know the truth, and that the truth will die with us if you do? That ain't gonna happen, you she-devil!"

The demon barber wrenched away from the cultists grasp.

"Demon witch! Demon witch!" A man chanted.

"Burn me? That's your answer? Burn anything you're afraid of. Burn anything you can't control." Rose wrenched out of the cultists grasp now too.
