"This is a sanctuary!" A woman's voice resounded in the church. It was a slim built Puritan woman about 63 years old with fair skin, auburn brown hair tied up in a tight bun, and she wore a purple Puritan dress.

"Please, Christabella, they lured my Anna. They gave her to the fiend." A woman sobbed.

The cult leader comforted her, wrapping her arms around the grieving Puritan mother.

"Eleanor, you must remember that Anna went against our laws. She went alone outside into the devil's playground." Christabella scolded gently. "She was not the responsibility of these four strangers. We'll deal with them later. Now we must pray."

Christabella led her cult into the center of the church and prayed. Sweeney, Sam, Rose and Cybil watched and observed.

"And then I saw them, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away. And no home was left to them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, and they were judged according to their deeds." Christabella prayed with the Brethren repeating the prayer.

After what had transpired, Christabella asked both Rose and Sweeney how they got to Silent Hill.

"Honestly, we don't know how we got here, but you're aware that Rose is looking for her girl, as for me, I'm looking for my goddaughter." Sweeney explained.

"And all we know is that we're supposed to be in this church." Rose chimed in.

"Are you a person of faith?" Christabella asked the both of them.

"I love my daughter." Rose answered.

"I will do anything for Mei." Sweeney said.

"That's not what I asked." Christabella pressed.

"Who are you to judge?" Rose asked.

"We judge because the souls of history hang in the balance." Christabella explained.

"Why?" Sweeney asked.

"Because our faith never fails us. Our faith keeps the darkness of hell at bay." The priestess described.

"Then use your faith to help me find my little girl." Rose pressed.

"And to find my goddaughter, ma'am." Sweeney chimed in; a dead sort of calm in his features.

"Only the demon knows where they are." Christabella answered.

"What demon?" Sweeney asked suspiciously.

"Then tell me, where do I find this demon?" Rose asked.

"No one has ever returned from the core of the darkness where the demon lies in wait." Christabella explained enigmatic.

"She's not gonna help us. Let's just go." Cybil grumbled.

"Figured." Sam said likewise.

"Hang on, lad." Sweeney reassured to Sam as the older man placed a hand on his back and walked away to talk with the younger man. He turned to Christabella politely. "'S'cuse me a moment, love."

The priestess nodded while the men talked alone.

"I can tell you're not ready yet...I understand, son. When David died, I had to step it up for him when I became Mei's godfather. I knew as soon as she was born that I would be the one to become her father figure and her godfather."

"You're lucky to have her, man." Sam smiled. "I'm a father myself, of twins; a boy and a girl."

Sweeney smiled as well.

"You're lucky to have them indeed." The barber said.

"If you wish to face the demon to find your daughter and your goddaughter, I won't stop you." Christabella said to both the demon barber of Fleet Street and Rose.
