"Madi, are you coming tonight?" Lucy says running up to me. "Coming where?" I ask, not sure what she's referring to.

"To the end of shoot party, the one on the beach that everyone's been talking about all weekend" right, with everything going on with Harry I had forgotten about that. "Oh, right. I forgot about that".

Lucy notices my hesitation and gives me a reassuring smile. "Come on, it'll be fun. And I promise I won't leave early this time" she laughs.

"I wouldn't miss it" I reply with a smile, feeling a small spark of excitement. "Let's get ready together?" she asks already walking towards the rooms.

"Sure, that sounds good," I say, falling into step beside her. "I'll grab my things from my room at meet at yours" she says.

"Sounds like a plan," I reply, heading towards my own room to freshen up and pick out an outfit for the party. It's a beach party so I decide to just wear a pink bikini and blue jeans that are undone and hang around my hips.

I hear a knock at the door, opening it Lucy walks in with her bag. "Hey, girl! You look amazing!" Lucy exclaims as she walks into the room, giving me a once-over. "That bikini is so cute!"

Lucy positions herself in front of the mirrored wardrobe and reaches for her makeup kit. I join her, sitting down beside her and start applying my own makeup. "Can I ask you something Madi" Lucy questions.

"Of course, anything always," I reply.

Lucy takes a deep breath before speaking, her eyes focused on her reflection in the mirror. "It's about Niall," she says, her voice hesitant.

I pause in my makeup application, turning to look at her. "What about him?"

"I don't know," she says, frowning slightly. "I just feel like something's off, you know?"

I nod, understanding. "Have you talked to him about it?"

Lucy shakes her head. "No, not yet. I don't want to jump to conclusions or anything, but I just have this feeling..."

I reach out and place a comforting hand on her arm. "It's okay to have those feelings, Lucy. And it's important to talk to him about it if you're feeling unsure. Communication is key, remember?"

Lucy nods slowly, her eyes thoughtful. "You're right. I just don't want to come across as insecure or needy."

"You're not insecure or needy for wanting to talk about your feelings," I reassure her. "It's a normal and healthy part of any relationship."

Lucy nods, her expression grateful. "You're right, as always," she says with a small smile. "Thanks, Madi."

I smile back at her, finishing up my makeup. "Anytime, Luce. Now, let's finish getting ready for this party."
