"Ah, Sunnie." Rain says looking at me with that smug face of his. "What are you here for?" He asks and sits on the chair beside me.

I just ignore him as I avert my eyes away.

He tilts his head as he looks at me and asks, "What? You don't want to talk to me?"

I shrug and say, "Didn't you say not to talk to you unless I get my sense back? Well right now, my senses are totally off."

He takes a moment to process what I just said, and as if he finally gets it, he flicks his fingers. "Ah, your senses are off because you're sick! Hahaha, nice one. But wait... are you even sick?"

He then, raises his arms at me, as if he's going to check my temperature. I slap his hand away as I say, "Don't do that. I hate it."

He then backs off. "What's up with you today? You're so edgy... Geez."

Out of anger, or maybe annoyance, or BOTH, I snap back at him, "No, what's with you today, Rain?"

He replies. "What's that supposed to mean?"

I let out a frustrated sigh and answer, "You're acting as if nothing happened yesterday! Did you know how bothered I was because of it? I couldn't stop thinking of you---"

Then he raises his eyebrows at me. I awkwardly cough as I continue.

".... Or maybe not. Anyway! I want you to stop acting like all of this is just a joke... It might not mean anything to you, but it affects me a lot. So, stop it."

"Didn't I say I was serious?" He says as he does his usual smile, which makes it hard to know if he really is, "I've always been serious from the start Sunnie, especially yesterday. Haven't I been showing my feelings obviously for a while now?"

I groan as I couldn't help but stand up out of frustration.

I looked at him as I reply in an angry tone, "Argh! There you go again! Didn't I tell you to stop? Do you think that I'm easy enough for you to mess around with?"

He doesn't reply and looks at me with a such serious face. The atmosphere in the clinic turns heavy and almost suffocating. I then realize how fast my heart beats was and I breathe out as I try to calm down.

"Tell me honestly." I say. "Are you really interested in me?"

"Think for once Sunnie." He answers immediately and almost annoyed, "Do you think that I'm forcing myself on you and not be interested?"

And before I could react and say anything, the door opens wide and the school nurse walks .
Her face turns into a frown as she sees Rain."Oh, you're here again. Listen, if you're here to skip class like last time, I want you to get out. Now."

"Fine, fine." Rain says as he stands up. He turns to look at me but I quickly avoided his gaze.
"I was about to leave anyway." He adds, and storms out of the room.

"What's his deal?" The nurse asks, looking at me and I just shrug. "Oh! You're face looks redder than before. What happened?"

I placed my hands on my cheeks and shocked to feel that its really hot.
"I think... It's just the fever." I reply.

She comes near me and placed her hand on my forehead. It hasn't been even one second yet but she quickly pulls her hand away as if she just touched a boiling pot. "You know, you should really take a rest." She says as she massages her hand.

"Or better yet... go home."

------------

And so I did.

"Sunnie? Why are you home so early? Why'd you take a half day?" Mom asks worryingly as she sees me by the door.

"Fever..." I answer as I take my shoes off and quickly went straight to the living room to lay on the couch.

"Woah! Sun!" My brother exclaims who I didn't notice was there sitting on a chair, studying.

"Was it a half day today?" He asks.

"Nope. I'm sick." I say. "And what's with you? Shouldn't you be at uni?"

"No class." He answers. "And Sun, can you make me some coffe---"

"Don't make a sick person bring your water bro."

Shortly after, mother enters the living room and sees me resting on the sofa. She nags. "Sunnie, if you're going to rest, go to your room! And change your clothes! But first take a bath, you're sweating too much and be sure to dry your hair afterwards. Its probably because you got careless and forgot to close your window. Geez, I don't remember raising you to be lazy and---"

"Mom." I cut off. "You're so noisy... Can't you see I'm already comfortable here? I don't wanna get up... ugh."

"Ugh my foot!" She says and slaps my thighs.
"Ouch!" I yell out as I sit up, frowning.

"Fine, stay there for a while longer. I'll have to make porridge so that you can take your medicine... And while I'm cooking, don't bother your brother!" She says and walks out.

"I won't. Why shouldn't I bother you anyway?" I mumble as I lean on the couch.

"Cause I'm a hardworking, studious, cool and handsome med student who excels in everything and has all potential which a mother wants her child to be, unlike you, therefore I need utmost privacy and silence to focus on my studies in order to give pride and joy to my family and to the woman who gave birth and special loving care to me." He answers in a straight and calm voice as he continues to read his gigantic med book.

"Hey, are you high with caffeine again?"

"No. I'm just proving a point." He answers. "Seemed smart right?"

"Not smart enough to be a doctor though..." I joke.

"Oh, shut up Sunnie." He says.
And I'm suddenly reminded of Rain Blue who says that line often.

I realized that I've never thought about what he said earlier this morning.

"Do you think that I'm forcing myself on you and not be interested?"

So... he really likes me? For real?
I mean that egoistic devil has feelings for me? He's capable of having feelings?

Ugh. The world's definitely messed up.

-------------

That's it for now!

So, I want to say that the next chapter is going to be Rain Blue's point of view. Something new for once :-)
