The meeting was finally over, I organized my things and was about to get up from my chair.
Pero nakita ko si kuya kausap yung biktima ko. They were standing at the big window, looking at them I think they have the same height. Kuya Angelo is 6'2, hanggang balikat niya lang ako. I can't hear their conversation, mukhang seryoso kaya di na muna ako tumayo. Baka it will catch their attention eh.
I took my phone out from my bag.
My eyes widen when I saw that one of my professors sent a task that needs to be passed at school after lunch.
OMG wala kaming klase sakanya ngayon tapos magbibigay siya ng gawain, nakakainis...
Nakatitig lang ako sa phone ko when suddenly someone talked.
"Why are you pouting?" Mr. Victim asked
"She doesn't know that she's pouting" si kuya na ang sumagot
I was pouting?
Hindi ko nalang pinansin yung sinabi nila at nagsumbong kay kuya.
"Kuya yung isang prof namin nagbigay ng task tapos ipapasa after lunch!"
"Sinong proffesor 'yan? Irereklamo ko"
"Want me to pull some strings to fire him?" sagot naman ni Mr. Capponi
Sabay kami napatingin ni kuya sakanya, both confused why he reacted like that. Huminga ako ng malalim to calm myself, I don't want to be rude again.
"No po Mr. Capponi, can we talk about the settlement na? Mag ru-rush pa po kasi ako ng school task" I said in a polite manner, I even smiled at him a little.
Please say yes, may gagawin pa ako.
"Stop with the 'po' I'm not that old, I'm just 23 and you're 20, just 3 years gap. Let's go to where I said we'll talk" he said walking to the door.
Pano nya nalaman age ko?
I looked at my brother and gave him a confused look. He just sighed and walked telling me to go with him.
"Drive safely, don't you dare lay a finger on her, kapag may nangyari sakanya 'yan I'll make sure to make your company bankrupt" kuya Angelo said in a serious voice.
"Grabe naman kuya! Akala mo naman kung ano mangyayari sa'kin" I said while lookin at kuya weirdly.
He just shrugged and when we arrived at the elevator, kuya Angelo was stading in front while me and Mr. Capponi was inside the elevator.
I waved him goodbye until the door closed. The whole elevator ride was quiet, simula 13th floor until basement walang nagsalita.
Ang awkward naman...
When the door opened I followed him, I kept a 1 meter distance kasi bakit ako tatabi sakanya?
He stoped and looked back at me, then raised his eyebrow.
"Why are you far away from me? I'm not going to do anything" he said in a low voice.
"Wala lang, hindi ko alam kung tatabi ako sa'yo eh, I'm shy". I said while pouting a little.
He sighed and started walking again, he stopped by an Audi and opened the passenger seat, gesturing me to come inside.
Pumasok ako and I looked around, appreciating the interior.
Ang pogi ng sasakayan, parang yung may-ari
I was snapped back to reality when he took the seatbelt and put it on me.
I inhaled and stopped breathing, as I did, I smelled his musky and manly scent. We were so close to each other.
"Do I smell bad? Bakit hindi ka humihinga?" he asked consciously as he stand up and smelled himself.
Hala ang bango mo nga eh
"Hindi ka mabaho, nagulat lang ako sa ginawa mo kaya I stopped breathing.."
I saw a ghost of a smile on his face before he closed the door to my side.
He then entered and sat on the driver's seat.
"Tell me about your school task, I'll help you on the way" he said starting the car.
