'I'm not your typical girl, Ryder," Jupiter says in her frostiest voice. She had no time for niceties, especially with this clown. Her only interaction with him earlier that day had almost gotten her in more trouble with Mrs. Walker.
"I never said you were, babe," he smirks. Smirks! The freaking guy has the audacity to smirk at her. And then he leans closer. "If you were, then this wouldn't be much fun, would it?"
"The hell are you talking about?" she hisses. He was way too close for her liking. Her personal space was being invaded overtime.
But what she wasn't prepared for, was his smile. A full on smile from Ryder Black was something she definitely was not prepared for. Her tummy had a strange reaction.
And then he spoke again. "Our story Jupiter. Are you ready?"
