Harmony's POV

I almost went all the way with Keith last night. On the first date to. He would have loved that. I was still so weak when it came to Keith. How was I going to handle a second date with him!?

I sighed. Those long sweet kisses. They were all I could think about today. His lips were so good when they met mine. Like we were meant for one another. But truth was we were not. Not at all!

Tears come to me. I'm writing how I really feel for Keith in my diary. The only one who could know how I felt. Definitely not tell Keith. No matter how much I longed to do just that!

Tears come to me. I would never be good enough for him. I was not meant for him. I brush back my tears of helplessness. Maybe I should call this off so I did not get hurt. I was already hurting.

"Hey why the long face? You look like you just lost your best friend" Laurie says to me.

"Because I did...." I sigh.

I explain it all to her. I admit how I really feel to. Tears fall like rain. She hugs me.

"Maybe call it off? Tell him everything and that you want to be friends" suggests Laurie.
"That will still hurt him. He will be hurt I lied and never want to be friends again" I sniff back tears.
"Maybe you need to admit defeat and tell him you love him see what happens next!" says Laurie.

I shake my head no. "After our past I could never do that. Not ever" I admit.

I hang my head. No matter how you looked at this everyone was going to be hurt. And when you got down to it it was my fault. Mine.

Laurie hugs me. I hug her back. The phone rings. She answers it. It was for me....
