NANGINGITI si Hya habang pinapanood si Dusk sa dinaluhan nitong pagtitipon sa Burj Al Arab hotel.

Sipping her drink while simply hiding beside a post in that luxury venue, Hya could see Dusk getting slyly irritated every time women get too close to him. Especially to those who were visibly flirting with him to only take his attention and without any business matter to talk about.

Meron din mga magulang na kasama ang mga dalagang anak na halatang gustong ipakilala kay Dusk. With the hope of taking her man's adoration.

Pero sa nakikita niya sa mukha ni Dusk ay wala itong interes. It was like she was looking at the Dusk she safeguarded years ago. Iyong girlfriend pa nito si Harley. Pag may kausap ito ay seryoso lang at pinapanatili ang distansya sa mga babaeng lumalapit dito.

Pinagkaiba lang siguro ngayon ay mukhang naiirita ito at may sinasabi ito na medyo nagpapaatras sa ibang babae at magulang na gustong ipakilala ang mga dalagang anak nila. Panay din ang tingin ng binata sa paligid at alam niyang sinusubukan nitong hanapin siya.

"Dusk doesn't seem to enjoy the ladies, huh," Soxiro commented through the earpiece they have. "Kahit ngiti ayaw ibigay sa mga dalagang lumalapit. Tinakot mo ba?"

Umikot ang mata ni Hyacinth sa narinig. "Wala akong sinabi. He's doing it on his own. I'm not gonna control him like that and I trust him, Soxiro. I know he's not going to take a lady when he has me."

"Wow, confident na tayo, Hyanerd?" Soxiro whizzed as he control his laughter.

"Gago, huwag mo akong tawagin ganyan. Sinisira mo gabi ko." Inis niya saad.

Kahit naman alam niya ng mag-ayos at manamit ng sosyal ay naiinis parin siya sa pangalang Hyanerd. It reminds her of those witches who bully her. Nakakainis dahil naalala niya mga mukha ng mga gaga. Pshh.

"Sorry," Soxiro lowly chuckles.

Umikot lang ang mata niya saka pinagpatuloy ang panonood kay Dusk hanggang sa naisipan na nitong lisanin ang lugar.

Hya followed him until he enters a lift where he hold the door and waited for her like he knew she was just a few steps behind. Kaya wala siyang nagawa kundi pumasok din sa elevator dahil hindi ito nag-iisa. Mukha wala rin itong pakialam kung may ibang maghintay at maabala.

"Hindi ito pribadong elevator, Dusk," saad niya pagkapasok at tumayo sa tabi nito.

"There's nothing wrong to wait for my wife." Nilingon nito ang may edad ng mag-asawang kasama nila sa elevator na iyon. "Right?"

The man chuckles. "Of course, that's your life you're waiting for."

"Bless you, dear, for having a man that won't leave you behind. A man like that is hard to find these days. Lucky is the one who has one." The wife said and when Hya looked at the couple they were smiling at each other.

"Hear that, ma fleur." Dusk boasted, pulling her waist to press her on his side before kissing her temple.

Nangiti siya at yumakap sa bewang ng binata.

Pagkalabas nila ay kinawayan nila ang mag-asawa. Nakakatuwang makakita ng matatanda na mag-asawa at mahal parin ang isa't-isa. People like them were one that reminds her that there is still a lifetime of love when her parents were on the rough path. Kaya kahit na hindi man naging masaya at buo ang kinagisnan niyang pamilya ay naniniwala parin siya na may forever. She just has to find the right one and she knew she has found him.

"Dusky, I hope we grow old like those couple." Nasambit niya habang naglalakad sila sa desyertong pasilyo papunta sa hotel room nito.

"We will." Dusk looked at her, hugging her tightly sideways. "My inspiration is my dad. He sets a good example of how to be a good husband and a father. And I believe your mom set the best example for you of how to be a good wife and a mother."
