I pried my eyes open as a loud knock came from the door. I turned over to see the sun peeking through the windows.
Morning already? I mean I did come home late.
The knocking resumed so I got up to stretch. I brushed my hair with my hand to try to make myself a bit presentable. The moment I opened the door, I was introduced to pretty much half of the town with their Guardian angels right behind them. By the look of their eyes and posters, they were upset.
"Haven't you seen the paper? You're kicked out of this house!" One of the real estate people shoved the paper in my face. I pushed his hand away, "It's just a piece of paper besides I still have a week to stay here! Out of all the people, you should've known that." I snapped.
Everyone started to protest and complained to their angels. Crystal was among them and proceeded to push them out of her way. "Alexa!"
"The hell do you want? I thought it was clear that I didn't-"
She held up a white envelope, "Look Alexa, I know this won't help much but it will keep you off the streets. My leader agreed that we can provide you a place to stay. Completely free and we can keep you out of everyone's hair." I stared at the envelope and grabbed it. The longer I stared at it, the more it reminded me of God's smug face. A small spark left my hand and set the letter ablaze.
Everyone gasped as I dropped it to the ground.
"This is my home. A place where me and my brother were abandoned, where we grew! All of our memories lie in this house and within this hill. Now...they are only mine." I stomped my foot on the steps and raised my hand to cast a firewall surrounding my property. The crowd gasped and started backing away to avoid getting burned. "I AM NOT LEAVING!"
A shadow hovered right over me and I looked up at the bright sky to see four angelic wings heading towards me. I jumped out of the way as HE landed in front of me. The firewalls lowered as the leader of the Heavens showed his face. Pure white hair and glowing eyes, avoiding any pupils. A golden robe was wrapped around his pale skin and four angel wings popped right out his back. He was beautiful but his personality was hideous. I can't believe I say that about a God.
"I gave you an offer to live a better life but you still refuse." He glared down at me. I challenged his glare and straightened my back, "This is my home. You want me to move, you'll have to fight me and this time I won't lose." I raised my fists.
The leader shook his head in disappointment, "I'm only trying to help you Alexa. Can't you see that? People know where you live and if you continue staying here, they will torment you until you have enough and you'll hurt everyone again. Just like during the war."
"TRYING TO HELP ME!? WE WERE ONLY TRYING TO HELP YOUR ANGELS AND HEAVEN'S CITIZENS FROM YOUR LEADERSHIP! YOU BRING NOTHING BUT DESTRUCTION AND GRIEF!! Thanks to you I have no one...YOU DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE AS YOU BURNED THEIR BODIES IN FRONT OF ME!" Tears rolled down my face as I held eye contact. It surprised me as I saw fear shined in his eyes. Does he actually feel threatened?
"DEMON!" He shouted.
I furrowed my eyebrows and wiped my tears to see them black. I looked at the crowd to see the same fear on their faces. A metal clink sound came from behind. I glanced back to see the Leader lifting his spear over me and forcing it down on my head.

I shot my eyes open and screamed, launching myself out of the couch. I hissed as I hit the ground below. Everything was still dark but a faint glow of the moonlight was shining in. I could feel warm liquid on my face, I immediately touched it and looked down to see my tears were clear.
