Everything went downhill for the Gilbert Sommers family last year. Not only did Jenna lose a sister and a brother-in-law but Jeremy, Elena, and Daniella lost their parents.
Elena went out to a party that night and sometime that night Elena called them asking for a ride home.
But little did they know that night would be the night they lose Miranda and Grayson Gilbert leaving Jenna Sommers as their sole guardian.
Jeremy resorted to drugs, Elena started to pretend she was okay and Daniella well she was the only one who seemed to be handling everything pretty okay well for the most part anyways.
Daniella walked downstairs after getting ready for the school day and headed towards the kitchen where she saw Elena and Jenna. "Toast I can make toast" Jenna said.
"It's all about the coffee Aunt Jenna" Elena said. "Ugh coffee really" Dani said.
Lena's right I mean how else am I supposed to get through the entire school day especially with Tanner ugh" Dani said and Elena smiled et her.
Dani then made her way towards the coffee making her some after Elena got hers.
"Is there coffee" Jeremy asked making his way to Dani. "Here take mine I'll make another" Dani said and gave Jeremy her coffee before making another.
"Thanks Dani" Jeremy said smiling at her. "Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared" Jenna said.
"Lunch money" Jenna asked. "I'm good" Elena said. "Sure" Dani said, and she and Jeremy took some money from Jenna.
"Anything else a number two pencil what am I missing" Jenna asked.
"Don't you have a big presentation today" Elena asked. "I'm meeting with my thesis adviser at now crap" Jenna said taking her hair down.
"Then go we'll be fine" Elena said and Jenna left. "You okay" Elena asked Jeremy. "Don't start" Jeremy said and left. Elena sighted and looked at Dani.
"Hey, he'll come around just give him time okay" Dani said and Elena nodded.
"I'll see you at school Tyler is picking me up today" Dani said and Elena nodded. "Okay" Elena said, and Dani left.

"Ugh have I mentioned about how much I dread coming here" Dani said. "Only about a thousand times" Tyler said.
"Hey, it's not my fault people always say only one teacher can turn you against school" Dani said.
"Well in that case it's Tanner for both of us" Tyler said. "Right, you are" Dani said.
"Well then it's a good thing that we'll be out of here soon and won't have to deal with him anymore" Tyler said. "Counting down the days" Dani said.

Dani saw Elena and Bonnie and went to them. "Hey, Lena, Bonnie" Dani said. "Hey Dani" Elena said smiling at her. "Hey Dani" Bonnie said when Caroline came over.
