Reading Minds Part 2

As I sst down on the bed in my room with Noah I could feel my cheeks blushing from nerves. 

"so, I did you bring your textbook"

"no, sorry, do you mind if we share" he moved closer towards me. Remember Rae he thinkgs your easy, play hard to get. I moved back away from him. 

"Sure"

"wow she moved away ? is she scared of me or something? wait she must be a virgin, explains so much, plus she is like the only girl who never wears make-up"

I saw him slide back away from me. Is that really what he thinks?!

"Excuse me one second, I need to go to the bathroom,"

I quickly went to the bathroom, locked the door and looked in the mirror, I was wearing jean shorts, a loose plain white t-shirt with my long brown wavy hair flowing down both sides of my face in a middle parting. I grapped my make-up bag and put on a layer of foundation, subtle blusher and a line layer of mascara to bring out my eyes. I only really wear make-up when I go out for a special occasion but I guess now is like an emergency need for make-up. I put away my make-up bag and walked back into my room and sat next to him on the bed. 

He looked up at me and he took a second look as the edges of his mouth creeped up into a small breath taking smile. 

"Did you just put make-up on ?"

"No,.." I let my hair fall infront of my face I didnt want him to think I put it on just for him, even though I did.

"Well you know you dont need it anyway, your beautiful.." I felt like I couldnt breath, his eyes sparkling and before I knew it his face was right infront of mine. His hand slowly moved onto my knee. I tried to pull myself together put I couldnt. His eyes were too dreamy. Focus Rae! Play hard to get!

I turned my head to the side and saw his shocked expression out of the corner of my eye.

' did she just reject me ? me ? no nobody rejects me! ' 

I tried to hide the smile creeping onto my face. Now all that I had to do was resist kissing him.

 "I will see you later Noah" I went to close the front door when he reached out his arm and stopped it.

I cant believe I spent two hours alone in a girls bedroom without kissing her! I can't ruin my reputation, I will get this girl.

"How about I take you out? Next Thursday sound good ?"

"Next thursday? But thats Valentine's Day?"

"I know" Noah Whites was asking me on a date! on Valentine's Day!! He stood there leaning on the doorway, with a playful cheeky irresistable grin on his face.

"Yes! err..I mean,...sure"

His smile widened at my reaction. "cool, see you later Rae"

And he walked down the path, and into his car and drove down the road.
