Chapter 4

As I'm getting changed I see my phone buzz on the counter. I finish slipping my shirt on. I pick up my phone and look at the text. Unknown. No not again please.

Your lucky your boyfriend helped before I got to you. You would have stayed in the hospital longer. Say hey to your older sister for me.

My older sister? I walk out looking at my phone.

"Guys I think the killer texted me. It said to say hey to-"

"Sophia" i look up. My eyes widen and I give my phone to Wes.

"SAM!" I run and jump into her arms. "I've missed you so much oh my god" I say almost crying.

"I've missed you too. More than you think."

"What are you doing here?" I say as I jump down.

"Well both my sisters were attacked. I needed to know for sure that y'all were okay." She looks at me directly in my eyes. "I know I haven't been a good sister to you or Tara but I plan on being here for now on. I promise." I hug her again. After a while we both let go.

She walks over to Wes and hugs him. "Thank you for calling me."

"Of course" he says pulling away. I look at him and he looks at me with a slight smile.

"Love the hair" she messes up his hair.

"Thank you sam"

She walks over to Mindy so I take my chance to walk over to Wes.

"Hey Mindy" she pulls her into a hug. I grab Wes's hand and lay my head down on his shoulder.

"My sister is back" i smile

"Your welcome."

"Thank you" he kisses my forehead.

"You two?" I look at Sam who is pointing her finger and me and Wes. I nod my head

"2 years and 1 month" I say smiling.

"You two?" I point toward the guy behind Sam.

"Yes. Richie." She grabs his arm and pulls him closer up.

"This is my siste-" she gets cut off

"Tara right?" He puts his hand out for me to shake. Seriously? I ignore his hand and look at Sam.

"Babe no that's Sophia."

"Oh shit sorry. Hey Sophia." He puts his hand out again.

"I'm good."

I stare at him.

"Your weird looking"

Wes and Mindy laugh and Sam puts her head down with her hand over her mouth trying to hide her smile.

"Tha- thank- you" he looks at Sam confused.

She clears her throat. "Anyways, this is Wes and Mindy" she points to them. They wave their hands and Richie does the same.

"I use to baby sit them" Richie nods his head.

Everyone goes quiet making there be awkward silence.

"Where is Tara?" Sam says breaking it.

"Oh yea. We were just going to go see her actually. I just got released so I was going to go see her. Actually let's go now. Yea?" I pull Wes along with me. "Lead us the way Wes."

We start walking and everyone follows behind. I hear muffling behind me and Wes.

He pulls me closer.
