BETRAYAL - SCREAM

Chapter 6

We call Mindy to call everyone to meet up at her house.

Once we get to the house I walk in leaving Sam and Richie behind. That Bitch is getting on my nerves he's practically a man baby.

"SOPH!?" She hugs me and I immediately hug her back.

"Sam and Richie are outside they should be coming in soon." She nods. "Well go! Your little boyfriend has been asking about you." I laugh. "That boy gets on my nerves." I laugh a little harder making Mindy smile.

I turn and walk into the living room looking at everyone. Amber, Chad, liv, Wes. Ahh WES!

"Soph, oh my god your okay." He gets up and hugs me as I wrap my hands around his neck.

"Careful dude." Amber says. Wes lets go and grabs my hand then walks to the couch and sits. I sit down beside him and set my legs over his as he holds them from falling off his lap.

"Y'all gross me out." Amber says disgusted.

"How do you know so much about the stab movies?" We hear riches  voice.

"Oh my god not him." Amber says rolling her eyes.

"Damn Ambs your in a bad mood."

"Runs in her family." I hear a familiar but not familiar voice.

"Holy shit no way."

"What?"

"Randy was our uncle." We see Mindy walk in with Sam right behind her with Richie and Dewey following. Wait Dewey?

"Rip" she kisses the painting that hangs in their living room of their uncle randy.

"What is the sheriff doing her?" Chad asks.

"You said to bring everyone." Mindy says motioning to everyone.

"Hey." Sam says.

"Woo, suspects!" Martha, Randy's sister and Mindy and Chads mother.  She walks in and sets the food and drinks on the table while Mindy grabs a piece off and eats it.

"My brother would be so proud."

"Hey, Martha." Martha turns to Dewey and her face lights up.

"Dewey! Hi." She says hugging him.

I look at Wes and smile and he returns the smile.

"You look." She stops and just nods her head. I giggle a bit.

"You shouldn't laugh."

"But I'm going to laugh." Wes shakes his head at my comment.

"Yeah."

"How's the wife?"

I cringe and look at Chad, he has the face as everyone else.

"Okay, mom thank you. We are good." Chad says

"All right, kids, have fun." She gives eye contact to Chad and he gives her a thumbs up.

"I asked Mindy to call everybody here, because." She stops and looks at me.

"It's okay Sam I have your back." I say nodding at her.

"Because there's something I have to tell you."

"Is this about what you guys were talking about at the hospital?" Wes ask

"Yea."

"This is hard to tell you guys I-" she pauses and starts pacing back and forth.

"Just sit Sam your making it more weird just explain them what's happening."

She signs as she walks over to sit down.
