A Riddle To Solve

Riddle?

I woke up with a start of panting, sweating and heavy breathing. I had woken up from a nightmare. It was the day my mum died, she was murderd by my dad. As he tortured my mom, i can't stop hearing her screams. Its been hunting me every night in my sleep.

"F-fuck.." i said as i got out of my bed

As i get ready for the day i took a bath and change my clothes. I looked around my room finding the book that ive been reading, until someone knock on my door.

I had a strange feeling that its not our Keeper from the orphanage. I open the door slowly as i met a tall old man with a white beard in a blue robe.

"Ah Y/N i finally meet you" he said with a smile.

I stood there confused. Why would someone visit me? No one ever visit me. I hope he isn't here to check on me, since the people here have been calling me a freak for setting a kid's clothes on fire by just looking at it. Is he here to take me?

"Im Professor Albus Dumbledore" he said a wide smile on his face.

"You're a Doctor right? You've come to see what's wrong with me do you? You've come to take me and lock me are you?" I said as the old man was taken aback when i tried to see his intentions by this 'freak' abillites of mine.

"Ah calm down now, im not a doctor Y/N. Im a Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchchraft and Wizardry." He said calmly.

"What? Just because im a 11 years old kid, that doesn't mean you can play games with me and joke around." I said in a annoyed tone. "So tell me what are you and why are you here" i continued.

"Im a wizard Y/N.. why don't i show you a little bit of magic?" Dumbledore said as he pulled out a wand in his robes.

"Really now? Oh go on let see" i said as i furrowed my brows while i stare at him.

Soon Dumbledore wave his wand and turned my pen into a snake, as i look at it. I smiled softly while i pet the snake.

"Hello" i hissed at the snake, i have gift that let me talk to snake. This is one of the reason's why ive been called a freak. Since i made a black snake chase one of the kids that bullies me here in the orphanage.

"Hi" the snaked hissed back as i pet it more it, Dumbledore set it on fire. As i gave him a glare.

"Why would you do that?" I asked getting annoyed, as he handed me a letter.

"Im inviting you to my school, we would be more than glad to teach you how to learn magic." Dumbledore said as i tore the letter open and met by a folded parchment, as i open it.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

Dear Mr. Riddle

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all the necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on the 1st of September

As i read through the letter, i saw the list of the requirements and read it carefuly.

"Fine but where do i even get this things and im in a orphanage i don't have money for this" i said as i keep looking through at the things i need.

"No need to worry about that just pack your things and i'll show you where and how." Dumbledore said as he look around my room.

Soon i pack my things and get ready. since i'll be staying on a place called Leaky Cauldron. As i finish packing my things, he told me to take his arm. I did what asked me to it felt dark for a moment until i stumbled into a wall catching my breath to calm down.

"This is Diagon Alley." He said

"Well the place is interesting" i replied looking through the crowded and a loud place. As Dumbledore show me the way to Leaky Cauldron. I stay in for the night to buy all the required books and items i'll be needing for Hogwarts.

A/N: this is my first time writing and making a fanfic. I know its short but like i said its my first time. So i'll try to make it longer once were in COS since i have more ideas to put. But i won't be making the first part too long since your house will be Slytherin. you won't get involved too much until they sneak in through the trapdoor.
