As he lay on the ground, pain coursing through his body, he knew that his time to die had come. The oni were closing in on him, their breaths hot and rank as they circled around him. Akio knew that he had to find a way to fend them off, or he would be devoured alive.

He scanned his surroundings, looking for anything that could be used as a weapon. His eyes fell on a broken piece of concrete nearby, and he lunged for it, using it to strike at the oni as they approached him.

With each strike, he felt a renewed sense of strength and determination, fueled by the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He fought with all his might, striking out at the oni with everything he had.

Breathless and wounded, Akio collapsed to the ground, his body battered and bruised. But he knew that he already did his best, and accepted his fate.

As he lay on the ground, blood pooling around him, Akio's vision started to fade. The pain was unbearable, and the world around him slowly turned black. His last thought was that he failed Rila, failed Kenji, failed himself. The darkness swallowed him whole, and he lost consciousness.

As Akio slowly regained consciousness, he found himself in the same place, but the oni were gone. Not even a single one was present. As he paid attention towards his surroundings, he saw a person standing on the ledge of the building. The person was wearing a long black coat, and their face was obscured by the hood. Akio couldn't make out who it was or what they were doing there. As he stood up to get a better view of them, they stepped off the ledge, falling down.

Akio rushed to the edge to see what had happened, his heart racing with fear and uncertainty. But to his surprise, the person was gone. Akio couldn't see anyone down there or anywhere else. Akio was puzzled, wondering what had just happened. He looked around, trying to make sense of the situation, but there was no one in sight. He felt a chill run down his spine as he realized that he might have just witnessed something supernatural.

It was afternoon, and Akio realized that he had to be in the Headquarters. As he rushed towards the ground floor, Akio noticed that the building had been damaged severely. Cracks and holes were visible in the walls, and debris littered the floor. He couldn't help but wonder what had caused such destruction.

As he stepped out of the building, he saw that the sky had turned dark, and it looked like it was about to rain. He started running towards the Headquarters, hoping to get there before the rain started pouring down.

As he reached the Headquarters, he was out of breath and completely soaked. He quickly made his way to his commander's office, hoping to explain what had happened at the construction site. Akio heard a deep voice which belonged to a young man in a long robe and dark green hair sitting in front of him. He had a long cut from his right eyebrow to his chin, and Akio could feel the weight of his gaze upon him.
