Damon's Pov
I walk back to my office after having lunch with Mavana. Mavana..I thought she hated me after that incident this morning but turns it out she likes me. I mean why other else would she give me her number. My phone rings and I look over and pick it up.
"Hello" I say sternly.
"Yeah it's me Calvin look I was wondering if you would like to come to my wedding and on the 20th" he says lightly.
I look at my calendar and see I have nothing to do on that day. I would really like to miss this wedding and skip it.
"Sure I can anything else Cal?" I ask bluntly.
"Yes bring a plus one Damon" he says chipper.
A plus one? Does he mean a date? I can't think of anyone else other than well Mavana.
"Damon you there buddy?" My brother asks worriedly
"Yep I heard you and I have a date to bring but I don't know if she will agree to it" I say honestly.
"Well she better" Cal says seriously
"I'll get her to Cal once our shift is done" I say
"Good well see you next weekend" Cal says chipper
"Bye" I say
I put my eyes back on the paperwork. I really have to sign all of shit just to become a resident here. I'm not going to be here long just for a month so that I can return to my mafia. I have a headache just looking at this paperwork.
Just to speed up time I'm about to put anything but I can't. Paperwork is just so fun.
