Merida closed her eyes and waited for herself to hit the floor, but she never did. Merida opened her eyes and she found herself dangling in mid-air, as she looked up and saw her hand was sticking to the side of the dresser.

"Well this is something you don't see everyday now is it?" she asked bewilder. Merida looked at her other hand, it was probably the slime that was doing this, so she stuck it to the dressers as well and tugged a bit. They were sticking well, possibly too well she tried to pull one at a time. It came off better, but she still had to tug pretty hard to unstick it. She eventually made it to the top of the dresser. Merida, with a bit of effort, finally got on top of the dresser breathing a little heavier as she sat there staring at her hands in wonder, but then she coughed again, her throat was still very dry as she put hand up to her throat rubbing it a little.

"That was cool Merida! I wish I could do that." Exclaimed Hamish. The boys jumped up onto the chest and hopped onto Merida's dangling tail. Merida helped her brothers up one by one, thankfully their hands didnt stick together as her brothers jumped out of her grasp and made their way up to the rafters. Merida shifted her fins and followed after the triplets, she dragged herself across the dresser, reaching up toward the rafters.

Merida placed one webbed hand on top of one of the beams closest to her, made sure it was sticking, then placed the other hand next to it. She pulled herself up on the rafter and looked around, she saw a big platform on top of beams connecting the beams and saw the triplets beckoning her to small hole in the wall that led to hallway.

"I don't know about this, boys. You sure this is a good idea?" wondered Merida as she squeezed her way through the hole without much trouble. Her brothers nodded their heads and started to jump across the beams, they stopped every once and awhile to see how Merida was doing. The beams were within reaching distance, but it was still hard for her having to reach then puling herselfover quick enough not to fall. At this rate we aren't going to get where we need to go in time before I dry out. Merida thought begrudgingly.

"Hey, I have an idea Merida. Why don't you swing from the rafters?" suggested Hubert, shaking her out of her thoughts.

"And risk someone seein' me. No way."

"Do you have a better idea?" Hubert whispered, raising an eyebrow at her and crossing his arms.

Reluctantly, with a sigh, Merida made sure no one was around and swung down. Using the momentum from that fall Merida started to swing back and forth to give her some more momentum and she reached put to grab or stick to the next beam. She was able to stick to the other beam and chuckled, she gave her brothers a wave of reassurance and they continued on. Merida and her brothers went on for the nex couple of minutes without running into anyone, but as they jumped and swung for a few more beams theyvturned a corner, but as they turned to go that way they noticed that Maudie was walking away from them in the other direction taking some food from the village to the kitchen. Merida tried to bring herself up, but couldn't as the weight of her tail was too much, it certainly didn't help that her arms were tired now from the swinging. Then she noticed Maudie was looking up as if she heard the creaking of the wooden beams, Merida started to panic.

"Boys, help me up! If Maudie turns around she'll see me!" Merida whispered franticly.

"Alright, we'll help. Just bring your tail up a wee bit." Harris whispered teying to calm her down and she did as he said as much as she could.

Hubert jumped to the next rafter in front of her and jumped down towards her tail. He grabbed onto Merida'a tail right at where the fins met the scales before they start to widen and the momentum from his jump caused her tail to swing up and over the beam behind her, causing her tail to hit it hard and she winced. Hubert had jumped up off her just in time and accidently landed on his sister's tail, catching it from falling again in the process. Merida grunted loud enough in pain that it caused Maudie to turn and look behind her. Maudie walked back the way she had come and underneath Merida. The princess held her breath fast, but that didn't do to well because she coughed hard enough to cause her fins to slip out from Hubert's feet nealy making him fall as well, thw niw escaped fin swing down and accidently hit Maudie hard enough for her to fall a couple of feet and lose her grip on all of the food she worked so hard to get. Merida's tail had so much momentum  that she kept swinging forward until she hit the beam in front of her, and the force of that hit sent her tail flying backwards, then all of a sudden her hands lost their stickiness either from her surprise or her dryness that was getting more and more troublesome, that it sent Merida flailing backwards. She flipped once then landed hard on her left arm and gasped in pain. She heard little footsteps rushing toward her, she winced as she sat up and held her arm, quickly checking it for any damage.

"Och, that's goin' to leave a bruise, now isn't it?" chuckled Merida painfully. The boys ran to her side to check if she was alright. "I'm fine. My arm's not broken I know that much."

"You sure?" they asked in unison. Before Merida could say anything they heard a moaning from where Maudie was lying. She sat up with her hand on her head. Merida quickly covered her fins, her brothers helping her as best they can, as Maudie started to stand up.

"Are you alright? It looks like you had quite the fall and a bad cough. Would you like some water, lass?" asked Maudie as she offered a hand to help the princess up, but Merida shook her head to the offered hand.

"Thank you, Maudie, but I'm fine down here. I will take the water though." Said Merida as she watched Maudie go back to the scattered food on the floor.

"Sis, you sure this is a good idea?" asked Hamish, whispering.

"What, its water. It's not like it's going to hurt me, Hamish. Besides it might help me." Whispered Merida.

Maudie finally found some water in a small jug and started to come towards Merida. Merida stared at the jug as if transfixed of the water swishing around inside, but her staring was cut short as Maudie stumbled over a piece of stray food and lost her grip on the jug. Water came flying out of the jug and landed on Merida, but with the water came the jug and it landed square on her head with a resounding thud. Merida felt top heavy and could feel herself falling sideways. When her vision focused again, she saw Maudie staring at her wide eyed; it wasn't at her face it was at her tail.

Here I am soaking wet on the floor with Maudie staring straight at my tail. Today is just not going my way is it? She thought annoyed. Though she did feel stronger somehow, then she remembered that it was probably the water on her skin, but her arm still hurt and winced every time she tried to move it and her throat still a little dry. Merida looked around for her brothers, but couldn't find them. Maudie was still staring at her as if not sure what of make of this, as Merida sat up and Maudie moved backwards against a wall as if she hide herself from Merida, looking like she was about to scream, the sight was very familiar to the princess.

"Maudie, its fine not going to hur . . . ." suddenly the floor disappeared from beneath Merida and she was sliding down a tunnel yelling as she went. As she came to the end of the tunnel she landed face first into sand. When Merida struggled to sit up she spat sand and hair out mouth, her dress was covered in sand, then she noticed where she was and gasped in awe.
