6- just us two

Effy's POV

I open my eyes as the sun is streaming in from my windows. I blink a few times as my eyes adjust to the light. After lying in my bed enjoying the tranquillity of the silence for a few minutes I decide to get up. I throw on a baggy hoodie over my pyjama shorts and vest top before pulling some fuzzy socks onto my feet. I walk over to my vanity and do my morning skincare.

Walking down the stairs I walk into the living room and see Bindi sitting on the sofa. She looks over at me and smiles. "Good morning sweetheart. I hope you slept well." She says with a bright smile. "I slept amazingly, thank you Bindi." I reply. She tells me that Robert is outside with Stella and Piggy.

Stepping into the back garden of the house I see Robert in workout clothes running around with the dogs. I stand there admiring him for a few seconds before he notices my presence. He smiles brightly and walks over to me, pulling me into his arms and kissing my forehead. "Good morning darling. How'd you sleep?" He asks. I tell him I slept well and pull him in for a kiss. I only intended for it to be a short kiss but he put his hand on the back of my neck and deepened it. When we pulled away he grabbed my hand and pulled me inside with him.

He walks into the kitchen with me trailing behind him. He makes us both a bowl of cereal and places them on the kitchen island. We both sit down and his hand instantly finds my thigh. We eat our cereal in silence with only the feeling of his thumb rubbing circles on my thigh. I finish my cereal before Robert but wait for him to finish before getting up.

We walk upstairs and go into my room. I walk over to my vanity and begin putting on some natural makeup. Robbie goes into my wardrobe and pulls out a pair of baggy black ripped jeans putting them on the bed, then he grabs a t-shirt to match and a white baggy zip-up hoodie. I smile at him, grabbing the clothes, I go into the bathroom to change.

I walk back into my room to see Robert lying on my bed, throwing one of my teddies into the air. I giggle and his head pops up to look at me. "You look gorgeous Effy." I blush at his words and he gets up to give me a hug. His hands grip my hips and he pulls me into him. Swaying us back and forth before letting go. He begins to walk to the door and motions me to follow him. "Rob, where are we going?" I question. He just smirks and continues walking.

We end up in the middle of the zoo. Him still pulling me along. We end up outside the Tiger enclosure. He gazes into the enclosure for a moment. I love how peaceful he looks when he is in the zoo, he seems totally calm, like all his worries have disappeared. I feel his hand grab onto mine and we slowly move away from the tiger enclosure. I let him lead me down the zoo's walkways, just enjoying being in his company. We end up in the zoo's Africa section. Robert leads me over to the Rhino enclosure. "This is DJ the Rhino." Robert states with nothing but admiration in his eyes. He reaches his hand out to touch the Rhino.

Time skip

Me and Robbie collapse on the sofa after getting back into the house after our walk. Robbie pulls me into him and snuggles his head into my neck. I giggle at the feeling of his breath on my neck. "What's so funny darling?" Robbie asks. I just giggle more and shake my head. Nuzzling his head into my neck more he says, "Does that tickle my love?"

I just nod my head and hold him tighter, running my hands through his hair and placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.

We have been cuddling on the sofa for a few hours, watching Harry Potter. Terri wanders into the living room and sees us cuddling on the sofa, she sits down on the other side of the sofa and focuses her eyes on the screen. "What do you two want for dinner? Bindi and Chandler are going out for dinner so it's just us three."

"Actually mum, Efffy and I are gonna go to the beach and watch the sunset, so we'll get food while we are out. If that's okay of course" Rob replies without missing a beat. I just look at him confused and he just gives me a look that says to go with it. Terri just nods and gets up before leaving.

Robert stands up before throwing me over his shoulder. I shriek. Running up the stairs and into my room, throwing me on my bed before rummaging through my drawers. He throws a bikini and his hoodie at me before pulling me off my bed and into my bathroom. I change before throwing the hoodie over my body and putting my hair into a messy bun. I walk back into my room to see that Robert had changed into blue swim trunks and a t-shirt. He grabs my hand and pulls me out of my room.

Leaving the house, we get into his car and he begins to drive. I'm looking out the window when I suddenly feel his hand on my thigh. I smile softly and look out of the window, admiring the surroundings. I zone out listening to the music softly playing through the radio. I zone back in when I hear the opening of Star Girl play. I look over at Robert and softly smile. I'm so lucky to have met him.

Pulling into a car park. Robbie parks the car and jumps out, jogging over to my side of the car and opening my door and grabbing my hand, gently pulling me out of the car.

Interlacing our fingers he pulls me onto the beach and we settle down onto the sand.

The sun is just finishing setting and I am sat in between Robbie's legs and leaning into his chest. I'm so glad we can spend time like this together. Just us two.
