FLASHBACK

We stood on the moonlit balcony, looking at the city lights below. But all I could see was Siya, her eyes shimmering in the moonlight.

"Siya," I said softly.

She blushed!

"Being here with you feels like everything is perfect. You make everything brighter."

She smiled, and I could see the trust in her eyes, which I wanted to see.

Taking a deep breath, I continued.

"These past months with you have been the happiest of my life. You've taught me the meaning of true love, of trusting someone completely," I told her.

A blush spread across her cheeks as I reached out to tuck a stray curl behind her ear.

"I know I haven't been perfect, but I'm fully committed to you. I promise to love, cherish, and trust you completely."

Tears welled up in her eyes, but they seemed to be tears of joy. I wiped one away with my thumb, and saw the love in her eyes that made everything feel real for a moment.

"I love you, Siya, more than words can ever express."

I whispered, leaning in closer.

"I love you too Arjun"

She heartfully smiled at me.

I was looking at her, her smile was alluring, I felt a strong desire to kiss her.

The next moment, I found myself irresistibly drawn to her, just like a moth to a flame. As I leaned in close, the night air felt charged with unspoken emotions.

When our lips finally met, it felt like an explosion of all my hopes, fears, and my revenge.

I started kissing her gently, we slowly explored each other, sending shivers down my spine. Her touch on my chest and her racing heartbeat made my own heart race.

I never imagined that I would kiss someone her.

The kiss became more intense, expressing all the emotions we couldn't put into words. Her gasp was muffled by my embrace, and her touch felt like a fire on my skin.

After we stepped back, both of us breathless, our foreheads touched, and I could see the desire in her eyes, a reflection of my own.

"Siya," I whispered, my voice heavy with passion barely kept in check.

Before we could continue further, her phone rang and she excused herself to go inside and talk to her grandmother.

As she went inside, I touched my lips, I can still feel her lips.

"She tasted amazing!?" I smirked.

I never thought I would kiss someone whom I hate with all my heart.

Everything seemed to be going as planned. Siya had agreed to marry me and was growing closer to me.

Yet, there's a nagging question in the back of my mind: How long can I keep pretending, and what will happen when the truth finally comes out?
