LIVS HOUSE. 1.08PM
liv mckenzie was lay on her bed, eyes watching the ceiling and hands across her stomach. she was anxious. god knows why, maybe the about the psychotic murderer targeting her friends. she'd heard about Vince dying and as much as she didn't really care, her friend and her ex had been attacked now, was the killer going for her? she knew the attack on sam in the hospital but didn't really get how that was linked to her which gave her some hope she wasn't the main target.

her bedroom was every 90s or 2000s girl dream. very pink and vintage, she's took inspiration from Jackie Burkhart. the room fit livs vibe - that she gave off, mysterious art girl hooking up with older guys. she was in her lana del ray era in the summer though, so no judgement. and now she was in a loving, loyal, caring relationship with chad meeks-martin. he was exactly the kind of boy liv would go for, sort of popular but not a dick, yet quite shy and soft but absolutely ripped. He was a big change from the summer she had spent with Vince, it felt like Chad actually cared about her, treat her like a human being and Liv tried her best to make him feel the same way. It was hard trying to make some feel cared about though, when the whole relationship was based off a huge lie. and then almost poetically, a knock at the door.

"ILL GET IT" shouted liv to her parents as she ran down the stairs, giddily. the reason she didn't want her parents to answer the door wasn't even because she was embarrassed of them, it was because of the person at the door. the person at the door WAS the massive lie. liv tucked two strands of her hot pink ombré hair behind her ears, took a deep breath and opened the door. standing there, with no shame: Jay Stewart.

"Hey." he said, almost proudly as he walked through the door.
"Hey, should we go upstairs?" asked Liv, as if it wasn't her own house. A few moments later, Liv was lay down on her king sized bed being kissed on the neck by the class clown skater boy. the best friend of her boyfriend. she looked up to her ceiling once again, 'what the fuck am i doing', she thought to herself. she knew it was wrong but she simply couldn't bring herself to end it. it's not so bad when you hear the full story, well, it is, but you can understand her point of view slightly more. but i assume that's what all cheaters would say. you see, at during the summer Liv had worked up enough courage to break up with Vince. although he was absolute scum, she was heartbroken, breaking up with someone was quite a difficult thing for someone who craved affection. and that very same day, on her last shift at the cinema, Jay Stewart walked in with his friends. He walked up to the counter to order popcorn for
him and his friends when he realised the lovesick girl behind the till. they had homeroom together but had never really spoke, so he introduced himself, told some jokes, flirted back and forth and gave her his number. of course she took it and the last two words of the line 9 above this one will tell you why she did. the girls shift was only supposed to last for another half an hour but when Tara and the others left, liv stayed. unfortunately for her, Jay had gone to watch a three hour film so she did a lot of waiting about but eventually he came out. he drove her home and their relationship developed from there. another thing about Jay is that he is forbidden to have any relationships with anyone. after what his family saw his uncle turn into after being with delilah, they couldn't risk another woodsboro killer hypnotising a Stewart. so just before school started again, Jay told Liv that he would have to stop seeing her in public and have to pretend like nothing happened. but from some unfortunate miscommunication, Liv took this as he was breaking up with her so she got mad and got with Chad. ever since then they've been sneaking around behind his back. Liv would have said something to Chad but he was such a sweet boy and she had grown to love both of them so she just couldn't bare it.

so. she's lay on her bed, being kissed by one of the boys she's in love with, while thinking about her boyfriend, who's 100% better for her. "Jay," she whispers, "JAY" louder. he pushed himself up with his arms, "yeah?" he said.
"i, uh, i've" she didn't know what to say but it was all too stressful she needed it to stop, "i've-" BING BING. a group text on her phone from Mindy Meeks Martin. 'Meet at mine in 10 mins. @liv, Chad wants u to come aswell so u can ig'
"i've gotta go" Liv said at her lucky escape.

THE RILEY TRAILER 1.02PM
Sam Carpenter into a roughed up caravan park in the poorer parts of Woodsboro. she was staring down at her phone trying to find out which caravan Ellie lived in. she put her head closer to her phone and then looked up to the caravan straight ahead of her. she put her phone in her back pocket and walked up to the steps.

Ellie was stood on the kitchen of the caravan, fumbling around the cupboards in search of peanut butter. 'fuck where is it.' she said, scattering around the kitchen. she went on her tip toes and reached her hands around the floating cupboard above the counter and grasped onto a peanut butter shaped container. she smiled and turned around onto the kitchen counter where two plain slices of bread where waiting next to a butter knife. the counter was filled with plastic bags, paper and just general mess so she was making her sandwich on in quite a small area of the counter with bread crumbs everywhere. she started to make her sandwich and looked up at the TV screen directly opposite her. "Good afternoon, Gale Weathers here and this is The Today Show."
"morning to you too, mom" she sighed and smiled. she was sad her mom lived far away on the other hand at least she had a famous parent. she finished making her sandwich and put her bag on her back and took a bite out of it as her dad tumbled out his bedroom. "hey bumblebee" he groaned, stretching and walking towards her.
"mother goose," she nodded at him "good night last night i see?" she asked and he grumbled back.
"okay then," she giggled, "i've left the dishes in the sink because i was expecting you to do it, then you didn't, and quite frankly i've been a bit busy with the murderer coming after us to do meaningless tasks like 'do the dishes' which is a perfect time for some psycho to call me" Eleanor ranted, jokingly. her dad knew she was joking, obviously not about the ghostface coming after her, but he knew she wasn't acting mad at her.
"i know, i know i'm sorry i'm sorry Ellie. i know this isn't the best home," Dewey smiled and showcased the trailer with his arms, "but i'm trying, really, i'm sorry i cant do more for you. but you know what, in the summer you can go stay with your mom for as long as you want and i'm sure all your world problems and," he stuttered, l
"mental problems will disappear." the father said, tapping his daughters forehead.
"it's fine dad, honestly. i love the trailer, and the rats, you still need to talk to mom about what's going on here though. i'm going to Mindys but try to get some sleep, PLEASE." she nagged him, walking towards the door. he walked over and gave her a massive hug.
"i will sweetie, i will. stay safe for me."
"i will sweetie, i will." she mocked her dad as she walked out the door.

the girl walked down the steps of her caravan, looking down smiling, as she bumped into a taller woman.
"Sam?" she questions, "what are you doing here?"
"i've come to talk to your dad." Sam sighed.
"um, we'll he's inside but i don't know if he's gonna be in a decent condition to talk to-"
"please, Ellie. i need to talk to him."
Ellie sighed and looked at her.
"yeah, okay fine. but before you go in, what's this about?"
"well Tara, me and Vince have been attacked now and i thought it's best to see Dewey because he of all people has experience with this, right? and i was wondering if he would come and help us. he got fired, right, i'm guessing by your living condition,  so he doesn't have anything else to worry about."
i don't think she realised how rude that came across but Ellie stood, staring at her, completely confused. hasn't this girl been back for a week?
"you know what, scream you Sam." Ellie said as she barged past and walked away.
"Ellie, no. i didn't mean it like that, i swear. i'm
sorry." but it was too late, the detectives daughter had walked away. "fuck." sam whispered. as she walked towards the door.
a muffled "DEWEY" could be heard from inside as the man walked towards the door. they saw face to face.
"sam carpenter" he sighed.
