Chapter 5-Awoken

Kaminari's POV

For 2 weeks straight I've done nothing but race to the hospital and always talk to Jiro non-stop until closing time. I felt so happy.

Everyone thought I just grieved over her all the time but I could actually talk to her! I felt so relieved that she could hear me and can answer me!

I've seen her moving around a bit more, she's been trying to get herself to wake up. At this point, I've gone to the hospital more than everyone combined. It was truly shocking.

Sure my grades suffered miserably but I didn't care, not at all! That was until Aizawa called me after class. "Kaminari, please stay behind." He said. While I watched everyone leave I walked over to him.

"You're always in such a hurry when school ends, your grades have dropped and you bearly talk to anyone, what's going on Kaminari?" He asked me. I was shocked. I've been acting like this?

"I've been going to see Jiro after school, I don't study because I'm in the room all the time." I honestly said. "Maybe you should limit your time with going to the hospital, she's in a coma, it doesn't look like she's going to wake up anytime soon, or at all.." He mumbled the last part but I heard everything.

How could a teacher say that? About their own student? "I-I'm sorry, are you seriously okay with your student being in a coma?" I asked as calmly as I could. I felt disgusted.

"Well what could I do? You need to stop seeing Jiro all the time, it's not like she'd actually know you're always there." He nonchalantly said. "Jiro is in that coma because she saved me, the least I could do is be with her!" I exclaimed fighting back tears.

"All I'm saying is, please focus on your studies, I do not want to have another talk with you." He said. I stood up and left. I sped to the hospital and got to Jiro's room and told her all about it. I decided to listen to Aizawa and to study, but with Jiro's help of course!

I had to do math and they were multiple choice so I read them out.

"Squeeze once if A, Squeeze twice if B and Squeeze three times if C" I said. It was like that and I quickly finished all of my homework and got to studying and made sure to go as quickly as I could so I could talk to Jiro the rest of the visiting hours.

It was 4:00 and Jiro started to move around more, I was confused. She's never done it this much.

Her eyes opened.

My world froze.

Jiro's POV

As I helped Kaminari with his homework I started to see a light, I started to walk towards it. it was so far. I kept on walking and walking. The light was getting closer. I started running towards it. The light was a door, I opened it.

What is this?

I walked through the door and was blinded by the lights and felt really light. I kept on walking blindly until I just dropped to the ground.

And passed out.

I opened one eye, it was bright around me. I saw a certain boy frozen, I was confused.

Kaminari?!

He shook his head. "Jiro! Y-You're.." He could bearly speak.

"Y-You..You've finally awoken.."
