"Y-You're awake.."

I looked at her in shock. Tears started to well up in my eyes and I ran to her side and hugged her. I watched as tears fell onto her shoulder. She was silent, I was silent.

She put her arms around me and held onto me tightly. I started to hear sniffling, she was also crying. "H-How is everyone..?" She asked. Her voice sounded different. It was deeper and raspier. It's probably because of her voice maturing and she must've not been able to speak so she wasn't used to it.

"They are all fine, you shouldn't worry about them! You're awake now and that's all that matters." I said.

Click.

A door opened and I turned to see a nurse walk in with a few things. She noticed how I was hugging her. Her eyes widened when she saw Jiro's eyes open and she dropped everything making a loud crash.

Jiro winced from the noise and immediately let go of me and covered her ears. "Jiro?" I was confused. "Make it stop.." She whispered. What was going on?

She slowly put her hands away from her ears. She looked terrified before but she slowly started to calm down. The nurse walked to us and checked her.

After a few minutes, she finally nodded and looked at me with a sad expression. "Her ears are much more sensitive to sound, any loud noises such as screaming, dropping things and clapping could make her go into a lot of pain, best you look out for her."

Jiro looked horrified. "B-But..Present Mic's quirk is his loud voice, most people in our class are loud..I-I" She kept on listing things. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, everything will be okay. We could get you noise cancelling gear and if something happens, I'll cover your ears." I said trying to calm her down.

She looked at me, her face softened and she hugged him. "It's best advised that she goes through physiotherapy so that she can walk normally. Her body might not be used to walking as she hasn't moved at all for months." Jiro and I looked at each other when she said that last part.

"The enhanced hearing might wear off in a few months to at least 2 years. You must take it easy with your body." She said. "B-But I'm a hero in training ..!" She said. "I understand that, just don't take it too far with overusage of running or of your quirk." The nurse calmly said.

The nurse finally turned and left the room leaving Jiro and I. She held onto me tightly. "H-How can I even be a hero at this point..I'm gonna struggle to walk, I'm going to be sensitive to sound, I've been missing school for months now.." She said. The way she said it sent chills up down my spine.

She let go of me and just looked down at her bed. I felt so bad for her. "Everything I've done for my hero training..was for nothing." Her voice started to crack and tears started to fall onto the blanket. They kept on coming.

I felt frozen, I couldn't move. I didn't know what to do. I finally moved my hand and put my on hers. "H-Hey..We'll be able to get through this, I'll help you through everything, I'll do anything for you to be able to be okay." I said everything with no hesitation.

"Don't worry Jiro, these are just some stupid..

Drawbacks."

Im gonna try get another chapter ready before I get back to school-
