The Housing Crisis

There's an explosion. The barn, now a blazing skeleton of what it once was, collapses in on itself.

"and about the- uh export, if you lift the seat you'll find the giggle water" He cackles gleefully

"Uhh Rocky?"

"Yes dear Pepper?"

"Where are you going?"

"Why back home of course, to the Daisy"

"Its the other direction"

"No its not," his words start to slur "Im certain that its th-" Rocky's head slams into the steering wheel as he passes out.

The car stalls and after making sure he's alright, we toss him into the back seat.

"Sooo what're we going to do with him?" I ask tentatively, trying to restart the car.

"Well our options are the daisy, or my dorm, it'd be harder to sneak him in to my dorm when he's unconscious rather than just having a head injury but its possible, and we probably couldn't do your place, what with explaining this mess to your ma." Ivy explains in a flurry of words "So probably bring him to Lackadaisy but someone should stay with him."

The car starts up again and we climb in, I glance back at Rocky to see how hes doing.

"we can actually take him back to my place, Ma is out of town visiting one of her friends, to help with the young'uns, so they can get back on their feet. She should be back in three maybe four days"

"That'll work, then you can keep an eye on Rocky. And I get to see your house!!"

"So we're stashing Rocky at my place."

"Yep!"

Sorry about my abrupt hiatus and that there hasent been much of the ship yet, starting the story in the middle of a run and only having like 300 words per chapter is probably to blame for that. There should be more within the next few chapters but I haven't written them yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
