Act 6, Scene 1
Enter Malcolm and Macduff in warm rejoice
MALCOLM
Oh how 'joyful am I,
Haunted by the fear of Macbeth's sins nevermore!
Though the fight was long, 'tis now over.
MACDUFF
Over it is, my king. And still
Under your direct command shall I remain,
Forever passionate, and deliberately yours-
MALCOLM
And with you by my side,
My One for now and always.
Though content am I, my heart
Yearns for my fraternal counterpart,
Forever unsatisfied without familial reunion of heart.
We would make a powerful duo, Donalbain and I,
Ruling as kings together until our final breaths.
MACDUFF
Doth thou imply a prolonged leave?
MALCOLM
That they do, my good sir.
But to you, I assure my quick return, as
Fate will resolve the lingering residue of Macbeth's cursèd tricks.
All exit
Act 6, Scene 2
Enter Donalbain, Three Witches, and Hecate with Hecate and the witches hidden from Donalbain
DONALBAIN
The day is young-yet how old it does feel!
Future's hopeful new but masking Past's grim old.
Donalbain paces, deep in thought
Nonetheless, patience must be valued,
For patience is all that's at my disposal
'Til Macbeth, his darkened heart rued,
is removed from this world,
Thus reviving the once pure character of Scotland.
Hecate's Party murmurs in the distance
Oh, but what do I hear?
Voices estranged, from which should I refrain?
Eerie, perilous, elusive, and dangerous as they sound,
Yet dissonance can sometimes entice, can it not?
Hecate's Party schemes louder
HECATE'S PARTY
Double, double, toil and trouble,
Quadrupled is our power, 'guised behind rubble,
With Cawdor's Thane, now no more,
Let's spark mischief to a-many's abhor!
Hecate's Party continues to murmur louder to Donalbain's surprise
