"Shia wait.. Why are you walking so fast..? " Mia said and followed Shia who was going to the class.
"We will be late you idiot.. " Shia said and started running. Mia realised and started running behind her too.
"Sorry Miss, we are late.. " Shia and Mia said together as the bang open the door of their classroom, grabbing everyones attention.
"There should be no next time, come in" The lady teacher said and both of them entered the class.
"Okay class, let's take out your Literature Notebook , today I have an assignment to you.. We will listen to a story I have bought for you.. And then all of you will write another story about that topic. The story should be truth, which mean it should be passed on to you by people.. Like you might have heard about it.. Basically a legend.. " The teacher said as she stood in front of the whole class.
Half of the class whined and half of them didn't even cared.
"Well, the topic is Vampire.. " The lady teacher said and the whole classroom turned into a pin drop silence.
The teacher explained her story, about how she was told in her childhood to not go near the banks of Gangas as night, as legend says that there are immortals who drink blood.
"So class, how about you.. Do you have any ideas..? " The teacher said and the class looked at each other.
"Well, no one.. " The teacher said, " You say Shia.. " She said pointed at the girl sitting beside you.
Shia stood up.
"Miss, I was told in my childhood that they are legend, they all happen to be really beautiful who prey on man and woman who are attracted by their beauty.. " She said.
"Very well, what about you Mia..? " She said and Mia stood up abruptly.
"What..? " She stammered.
"What about you..? What will you write in your story.. " The teacher asked again.
"Um, I don't have anything.. I don't believe in it.. I was never told any story about them.. " Mia said.
"Then you can search for it.. But you have to complete the assignment" The teacher said and Mia nodded.
The class bell rang and the teacher went out. Same as this, another classes went well too, some were discussed, some were calculated..
It was time to go home...
"Ahh, so much homework today" Shia whined as Mia and her were walking down the lane.
"Why do we need to go to school at first.. Like a prison.. Aish.. I need holidays.. " Mia whined too.
"Well then, bye.. See you tomorrow" Shia said as her stop came.
Mia waved a bye at her and then started walking again.
As always, she opened the door of her home and found no one. Who would be there till the midnight, her family needs to work right.. And being the only child, gives her so much space that she doesn't want. But it is somewhere good, she doesn't have people who would bother everything she would do.
At first she thought of doing her homework, but then it was so much to her that she dropped the pens and ran out to the living room, playing video games.
And as soon as she realised it, time has already passed, and it was night..
"Gosh, it's 8 already.. I need to do my work.. " Mia said and ran upstairs to do her homework.
