As I entered my new school, I had an abrupt realization that it was different than other schools I had attended before.

The walls were painted a sterile off-white that alone could drive a person to the brink of insanity.

One might say at first glance, it had the character of an outdated hospital.

Oh god... I thought to myself.

It was almost like I had stepped into a nightmare.

I had a moment to collect my thoughts before I was interrupted.

I stared at the ground, scanning for any deformities in the perfectly positioned tiles as I composed myself.

I found none.

Curiosity took form as I my gaze met with a equally curious set of eyes.

Standing in front of me was a fairly advanced aged woman.

She lured above with a couture of  high status and a sense of wise nobility.

Apart from her exquisite taste for fine attire she was matched with high cheekbones and hair the colour short of a winter frost.

With such fair complexion she had shone as though she might have been transparent in a different setting.

"Follow me." She said harshly whilst started down a long chamber.

Quickening my pace, I rushed to catch up to her.

There was no way I was going to lose her in this creepy part of the school...

As she reached the end of the hallway, her steps faultered as if she were waiting for me to catch up.

When I reached her, she turned down another long hallway similar to the first, much like the one we were previously in.

About five minutes later we arrived at a steele door.

A rush of nausea swept over me as we entered the room.

Thankfully this room was much more colorful than the rest of the halls I had just wandered.

The room was a Brandeis blue, covered in awards and certificates that had been slightly aged.

The base of the room was accented with a dark mahogany desk accompanied by a small redhead.

The older woman cleared her throat.

"Madame Rochelle, I found the new... Student wandering the halls.

I brought her to you myself as you solemly wished."

I stared up at her in confusion at her altered appearance. Her stance shone was that of obvious discomfort.

The redhead that was adressed as Madame Rochelle stood, and motioned for the woman's absence.

I sighed.

"I am Madame Rochelle, your headmistress."

she spoke every word in perfect unity emphasizing on headmistress.

I tried to suppress a giggle and thankfully succeeded.

"I do not see the humor in this." The headmistress said glaring at me.

I stared at the old wooden floor, as it had seemed parts of it have withered away from constant moving about throughout the years.

I spent most of her lecture staring out the window, but listening to some of the important key phrases.

"There will be a student escorting you around the school and your classes.

Then you both will proceed to the lunch room and to your living quarters.

Understood? "

I nodded as a knock sounded throughout the room.

"Ah, yes. This must surely be her"
