Despite my yearning for you,
The years I spent to be like you—
Perceiving what I thought was truly me.
Only to be downtrodden,
At your mere indffierence to my love. Now, the years have gone by,
And I—
Despite having loved you,
Grew to loathe your indifference,
As it finally became a apart of me too.You never took me as I am,
But did I ever take you as you are?
I would, if only in a heartbeat.
However, your indifference became a barrier,
And I too, became none the wiser.Shyneema2468© Copyrighted.
