Chapter 1: The Cannibal Chef

Kitty was an extraordinary chef. Her restaurant, The Cat and Mouse Inn, was full of wonderful cuisine for all kinds of patrons. Little did anyone know that the name was not just a pun, but a hidden warning about what happened to patrons once they left. Kitty was a cannibal, and she made a fine art out of it.

One day, three strangers walked into her restaurant. They ordered a meal and a room for the night. Unknown to them, this was their last night alive.

Kitty served her guests a delicious pasta, which they ate without noticing any strange tastes. Once the trio of men had eaten their meal, Kitty excused herself, then returned after some time. She brought with the dessert, which she said was a special treat. The three had no reason to suspect her of malicious intent, and dug into their new meal.

After Kitty returned, and served the dessert, Stan Lee, the creator and voice of many Marvel super heroes, entered the restaurant and said, "Excelsior!" as he sat down at a nearby table.

The shock of seeing Stan Lee in her restaurant overwhelmed Kitty, and she suddenly fainted.
