chapter 7.

I wake up and roll out of bed. Why is it so dark? I glance at my alarm clock and see that it's 3:00am. Wow, don't you love waking up in the middle of the night. I layed back down and threw the blanket over my head. 10 minutes later I'm still wide awake. Since I'm obviously not going to go to sleep anytime soon I decide to go downstairs to have a snack. I walk down my wooden stairs and grab a box of honey nut Cheerios. I decided to have it without milk because I'm too lazy to grab the milk from the fridge. I eat my cereal and then just sit and think. Maybe I do love Ashton? No, I can't I've barely known him for a week, I can't already love him, but I don't know how to desribe how I feel about him.

ASHTONS POV

I roll off my bed and hit the ground, "OW," I get off the floor and sit on my bed, I look at my alarm clock and see that it is 3:30am. Great, I'm not tired and I don't have to be up until 6:00am. I just layed back down and began to think. Do I love Dani? No. I can't I have a girlfriend and I've known her for like a week anyway. but I'm still not sure how to describe how I feel about her. I decide to try to sleep. It's not working, I can't sleep. I go to the bathroom and look through the cabinets. "Finally!" I say when I found the melatonin. I take one tablet and then go to my bedroom. In around 20 minutes I am fast asleep.... *beeeeeep...... beeeeep* I jump out of bed to the sound of my alarm clock. I quickly shut it off and then grab my clothes. I grab black skinny jeans, an ACDC shirt, and a white bandana. I head downstairs and go straight to the pastry. I grab a box of honey nut Cheerios, I love these. "Oh shit, I'm running late." I just pour my Cheerios into a bag and run outside. Damnit. I don't have a ride to school. I pull my phone from my pocket and look for Dani's contact. I call her, "Hello?" she says. "Hey dani! Um I was wondering if you would give me a ride to school today?" I say nervously. Why am I so nervous? I'm just talking to a regular girl. "Yeah, I'll be there in a minute." she says. "Okay thanks!" I hang up the phone and wait for her to get to my house. She's not just a regular girl, she's amazing.... why am I jumping to conclusions right now? I barely know her so I can't say she's "amazing" yet, also the only girl I should call amazing is my mom or my girlfriend. Seconds later dani pulls into my driveway. I jump into her car and as I enter a smile grows on her face. "Hey" she says. "Hey, thanks again for driving me to school"
"No problem, and we have math at the end of the day together again, do you wanna sit next to me?" she says. "Yeah I'd love to!" I say a little too quickly. She lets out a little laugh. Minutes later we arrive to school. We open and close our doors at the same time. "Bye" I say and then we separate to get to our classes. I have Spanish first. I don't know why I signed up for this class because I honestly hate Spanish. I have Señora Osoverde (sorry about the name I had to come up with something so it's gonna be bear green) We go over the preterite tense of irregular verbs. Surprisingly Spanish goes by fast. Next I have health. I walk in a little late and unfortunately the only open seat is next to some snobby rich girls. I hate this class. I sit down there anyway and for the whole class the girls stare at me. I feel so uncomfortable right now. The bell rings and I could never be so thankful for the bell. I jump out of my seat but I hear a voice behind me. Great, one of the snobby girls is trying to talk to me. "Hey" she says. "Hi" I say back. "what's your name?" she says. "Ashton." I say trying to sound uninterested. "My name is Ashlyn, we have similar names, haha." she says trying to act cool. I begin to walk out and I feel something in my hand, it's a phone number, great. I look behind me and see the blonde one who talked to me smiling nervously. I leave the classroom and head to science. My next classes, history, science, and ELA go by really quickly and it no time it's math. I grab two seats in the back, I sit in one and then put my stuff in another one to save a seat for Dani. I was one of the first people in the class. I was staring at the door to see when Dani was gonna come in but I see a blonde figure walk in the room. Great, it's Ashlyn. I have my arm around the back of the seat that I'm saving for Dani but Ashlyn comes in and decides to sit in the seat in saving for Dani.

DANI'S POV

I walk in the room and see Ashton sitting next to the snobby, rich, bitch Ashlyn. He has her arm around her and he's smiling. My mood went down really quickly. I take the only seat left in the class next to some nerds. I'm upset for the whole class. I keep looking back to find Ashton staring at me but I'm kind of pissed at him right now. The bell rings after what it seems like hours and I leave the classroom. I go back to my car and drive home. I come home really tired and put my stuff away, change into my pajamas, and immediately throw myself into bed. I get a text from Ashton. "Hey, I'm sorry I didn't sit next to you in math. I saved a seat for you but some snobby girl took it." I read it but throw my phone back down feeling relieved, I felt, Jealous? I think that's how I felt before and I didn't like it. I go to sleep thinking of tomorrow's drumming lessons with ashton. I can't wait.
