This began as a story in my head that I never thought I would actually write down, let alone share with people. It was a weird, plaguing concept that just wouldn't leave me alone, and I initially began to write it in my notes app and thought I would just keep it to myself. It wasn't until 10 chapters or so (I believe??) that I thought what the heck, I'll put it on wattpad, maybe a few people will be into it, and if I get ripped to shreds I'll just take it down lmao. I never expected this kind of reception, and I never expected this story and y/n to become so close and dear to my heart. I mean, its a freaking reverse harem (and apparently I didn't even do that part right Oopsies) about fictional characters from the 1920s. It was never meant to be this deep but then suddenly it was and now I think it'll be something I'll carry with me forever. (And also never tell my family about). Thank you so so much for reading, voting, and commenting. I never would have finished this if it wasn't for you guys reacting and asking for updates, it would have just stayed in my head as a weird little thought experiment forever. Someone asked me to do a John fic next and I had the whole premise come to me and I'm so excited for it, I also have another peaky blinders fic I need to finish, but if you have any other requests pls just let me know. I also deliberately left this open to a possible sequel lmao but at this stage idk what conflict would drive it as I want ban-ban to live happily ever after with no more kidnapping or fights or miscommunications. So maybe not. But anyway, thank you from the very bottom of my heart, you're all the fricken best and I'm going to be crying with my whiskey-scented soy wax melts for the foreseeable future while I say goodbye to Bancroft and this story.
