hello! thank you for choosing this book to read. as some of you may know i wrote this book months ago and my style has changed. this book took awhile to finish due to my motivation and chapters coming out may be slow.
i'm rewriting this book because i feel it was very rushed. it was a stressful process especially because i wasn't doing well in school and i just wanted to get this book done. this new version will be of me taking my time with it as well as putting in so much more thought and effort though i should've before.
i never thought i would get this far with writing a book, especially as a young teenager. i appreciate these 10k reads that i never thought i would get especially without me promoting it on tiktok or any other source of social media.
some changes will be the plot (somewhat), as well as the wording and writing style. writing makes me the happiest so that i can put my imagination out there and get creative and have a good time. i have changed some characters names. hazels name is now brianna and ryan (her bodyguard) is rylen. i have also decided to change vanessa's name to scarelett. i feel like axel and vanessa name wise don't go together while axel and scarlett do in my opinion. if you don't agree with this name change, i deeply apologize.
axel will have a more softer side as he's concerned about scarlett due to everything happening at a fast pace. although he's soft with her, he's still your typical cold hearted and ignorant person. he's good at reading people based on their body language or their looks which will show more of his soft side once again. scarlett will become a bit nicer although she still hates the fact that he's the one she has to protect as well as her figuring out that she doesn't hate him as a person.
and if you're a first time reader (ftr) i hope you enjoy this in a style that i am more comfortable in and i hope you enjoy this book as well as concept.
second time readers! please don't worry, the only changes are name changes as well as a better plot and understanding and things are actually in order and make sense. the old version made absolutely no sense. so for this newer version it will be clear and easy to understand. the main difference is the change in my writing as it has improved.
trust me you did not want to see what this book looked like before.
i will add personas. basically the characters name and a bunch of pictures that i've found i think fit the character. those will come out whenever i can get them made honestly, it'll just be a little extra thing added.
