Will You Be My Nightmare?

Kirstie Pov:

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
Those words played through my mind over and over once Avi let the words fly into the air. I didn't know what to say.. I never thought this would happen. I never thought that Avi would say those words to me so quickly. But he did, and I don't know how much courage it took him to throw himself into the wind like that.

"Yes, Avi, yes!" I grinned, placing a light kiss to his lips.
When I pulled away from the kiss I never thought I would see Avi's eyes shine so brightly. It was like all of the light in the world had been put into those oh so beautiful eyes of his. I sighed softly in content and cuddled into Avi's side, resting my head on his chest. I could feel his heartbeat racing from inside his ribs; it made me laugh.

"How are you still nervous around me?" I giggled.

"When you're truly in love, you still get nervous at the smallest thing your lover does." Avi smiled, his eyes still containing that happy glow.

"I guess so." I smiled softly. "Because I still get nervous around you."
He chuckled softly and kissed my head, making me shiver slightly. It still didn't register in my mind that now this man was mine, that no one could really take him from me. But I knew better, anyone could take him away from me, even his own father could take him away from me forever. Honestly I was still terrified to let Avi go back to the Nightoshpere and save his sister. I knew that one little wrong move and I could lose the love of my life forever, unless I ended myself too. But I don't even know if that would work.

"Avi?" I whispered.

"What babe?" He hummed.

"When do you plan to go back to the Nightoshpere?" I said softly.

He sighed. "I wasn't going to tell you...but I planned on going soon..."

"I'm not letting you go alone Avi! You could DIE! I don't want to lose you!!" I screamed, tears coming to my eyes.

"But I don't want him to hurt you.." He whispered, almost too soft for me to hear.

"I don't care if he hurts me, I just want you and Marcilene to be safe." I sighed softly.

"I would rather be hurt than you or Marci..." Avi whispered, a few tears falling from his eyes.

"Let a couple of us go with you, so incase you get hurt we can save you." I said softly, holding onto Avi's hands.

"But he can kill all of you! He nearly killed me!" Avi yelled, tears now falling freely down his face.

"I know! That's why I don't want you to go alone!" I sobbed into Avi's chest.

"I guess I can let you, Scott, and Esther go with me..." Avi sighed.
I smiled and pecked his lips, hugging him tightly. Now I could rest a little easier knowing that there wasn't as big of a chance of the love of my life dying. I felt a few tears fall into my hair and I looked up to see Avi still crying.

"What's wrong baby?" I frowned, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"I-I'm scared that she's not even alive anymore..." Avi whispered.

"I'm sure she's still alive, if she's a fighter like you." I said reassuringly.

"You and I both know that evil man could've killed her so I would come back to save her again but to only find out she was dead all along so he could end me once and for all." Avi sighed, his eyes no longer looking at mine.

"You don't know that, she could be alive and waiting for you to come back and take her away from him." I huffed.

"You don't know what he is capable of, Kirstie." He said flatly.
